I have one of these and I did not realize it has this soft cut feature. This is a huge selling point as labels will come off incredibly smooth and easy when running a large batch.
Hi, I noticed that the two pieces that were cut, the first label was longer, does it have a half cut or do you have to manually cut it with scissors? Thanks.
Can you eliminate that wasted space on the left side of the print out? I preferred not to use scissor hence I'm looking for a label printer with auto-cut capability.
Unfortunately there is no way to eliminate initial empty space although when you use the "chain print" function you can eliminate the white space on succeeding labels when you are printing multiple labels. This happens on almost all Brother P-touch model label makers/printers.
@@BryanzHAn03 when you say almost all Brother P-touch label printers, are there some that don't feed this initial empty tape? I have P700 and P710BT and am considering buying P950NW.
@@blackwersus When I said "Almost" I meant there might be some models that don't have the excess space. However, I believe all P-touch printers that use the TZ/TZe tapes will have the extra space due to the distance between the print head and the part where everything is bonded together.
By the way does anybody know how you get the status of the battery besides just using the LED light? Is there any way to see the percentage using the app?
Wow I hadn't realized the paper were that tall. I just ordered one of these gizmos from Amazon. My sole purpose for my order, print a label for each genre category for my 33s. I had to sit on this for a while before I made this $100 label maker purchase. Will I ever use that label maker ever again after I make out all the genre labels? Probably not, but I do spends $$$$ on all the LPs that I purchase. Why the hell not buy this toy. I even purchased an 8 pk with 8 different label color labels. It was only $20 for cassettes. Yeah so the $20 8pk labels are an off brand, as longs as it prints and the colors look good, that's all the hell I care about. I can't see the point of spending $20 for just one cassette when I can get an 8 pk for same price. Hell, that $20 I can go buy a very very very cheap vinyl album.

@@DTUnboxed thanks
Thanks for the amazing review. Trying to decide which label maker I need without breaking bank. BTW, I love your voice and accent.
Thank you for a quick tutorial. I just bought this from Amazon and didn't know how to start using it. This helped!
Is the tape supplied full length? 8m?
Can this print cable wraps, basically rotating the text perpendicular to the tape...not just single letters turned vertically?

what about an example of different layout of labels, such as wrapping cable layouts :)
Hey Bud happy new Year! @DT Unboxed Which app is recommended for the product?
Looks good! Waiting for it to launch in Singapore...
hi, what tape you use?

Can I use ribbon here?
