There’s another run around spot near there as well that has worked extremely well for me. Fly into the great olive orchard spot and then just run around that plateau. Gotten 6 shiny mareeps there for my daughter and I.

I always find it funny when people try to sneak into a group of pokemon to encounter a shiny, as you could "Let's Go Mode" it to help clear away those other pokemon. Anyways, thank you for the video- It helped me!

I got 4 shiny mareeps in one sandwich on the east side of Cortondo. Didn't have to pan the camera at all either, just move forward and back, super easy.
Do you NEED the salty Herba for the bug one? Because I tried different combos Herba and somehow I doesn’t give me encounter lvl 3. I don’t have salty though and I don’t mix sour with sweet. Nothing works for me
Make that 2 shinies I almost failed before smolive (shiny starlee was far away but I just notice it was sus from the others, and shiny grafaiai just spawn before my sandwich effect was done and I almost left lag thicket).
I have to wonder, does the Cute Charm ability still work to get Pokémon of one gender to appear more often? Since the Jigglypuff line is still in this game, I wonder if that could still help with finding female Shiny Snorunt, Combee, and Salandit

Mareep is my first ever shiny it was a full odds i was just farming raids when i was still not able to do 5 star

Sadly it does not. The only ability that works on the field is flame body now
