Loving the nitro content, it's such a nice change having one of the bigger reviewers post nitro content. And I agree nitro does seem to be making a come back these days, let's just hope more brands take notice 🙏
My nitro adventures started with a Kyosho Assault un the 80's, then went to the Kyosho Burns. Of course, now it's the Inferno MP10, the kit version. I love my Kyosho lineup. Thanks for the great video!
A good way of making your stock engine faster is by eliminating the pull cord system and using instead a starting box, you will need to exchange the motor mounts...it will add a nice kick to it
I too am really enjoying your new nitro vids.I have the losi nitro truggy and really like it and a was thinking about their buggy but after watching those hot laps with the kyosho I changed my mind!
I would’ve taken Losi over any of those other 2! Also just use any 2.0 3.0 or 4.0 mounts and throw mounts and also any of the 2.0 to 4.0 parts are all interchangeable Very good review overall🤟🏼👊
In total agreement with your choices! At the price they're asking for the HPI and Losi, though, you can have the MP9 TKI4 V2 ($30 more), and that's a much more competent platform with tons of upgrade potential! You can even throw it on the track at local club races and do quite well! 👍
Yeah I really want to get the MP9, but then again there are like 3 other nitro buggies I want to get too! There will def be more nitro content coming up!
I've been wanting to get into this myself what would you recommend for my first time I'm not a racer but I do prefer the 1/8 buggy platform not really in the HPI heard nothing but headaches when it comes to that company
I literally bought my first nitro because of your reviews, again. I got the revo 3.3 Still havent even run it yet, it's just so beautiful. I'm getting this kyosho next, was thinking the stadium truck as well.
If your runn Traxxas Top Fuel STOP it ruins engines. I reun VP or Bones Only, and I would go up to 25 or even 30% which is what I run and it all of my Buggy's run excellent on 30% The Losi is geared really poorly, I believe the most you will get out of it is 35mph, get a higher tooth pinion (I think it comes with a 13t) a 15t will greatly increase performance
I own HPI and Losi... HPI was a mistake, Losi is way more durable... way more... on HPI you can bend it or break very easily and HPI has also komplicated costruction to change things...and weak plate... Also Trophy has bad cover so dust and dirt are getting inside buggy... A had so many crashes with Losi and it still works:))
I genuinely don’t understand Canadian retailer pricing, they seem to the the hundred number from USD conversion, then roll a dice to get the other numbers.
Nice video man! I wonder if I gonna buy a trophy 3.5 for 300 dollar used. But only tested. Looks like it is not driven. I live in a high priced country.:( Cost 430 dollar new but then I most buy nitro and the other thing:) Hope anybody can answar soon. Kindly
@@RazorRC to compare the engine on the cars you have to have to same exact variables... How you gone have the same variables if the on two different Bodies.... I'm done with you
Is it sad? Maybe I guess. Anyway, it’s actually there to give you a clue as to the volume of the rest of the video so it’s not super loud or quiet when it hits.

YES! Razor, you know how to get the holiday weekend started! Nitro shootout👍
Thanks! I was going to publish this after thanksgiving, but was like nah, f it!
Absolutely love this nitro content. Keep the nitro videos coming.
Spot on review. Love my mp7.5! Always thought 350$ for an rtr nitro buggy was an incredible deal.

Nice kyoshos are great and this one looks much meaner looking than the other two to me!
Definitely, love the Kyosho!

@@RazorRC Thats what I like to hear!
@@RazorRC the 🐍too?
@@vivos71 maybe, not sure yet
I've got the neo and neo 3.0 I love them!!
With the Kyosho 1/8 Inferno buggies there are some parts that are interchangeable from the other Inferno buggies.
The kyosho starter box works great on the Losi 8ight buggy and truggy and you do not have to try and find the lower motor mounts.
Cool video. It'd be nice to see how those ancient RCs compare to newer models such as the nitro iteration of the Hobao Hyper VS2.
I think you’ll be happy with my next nitro video… 😉
@@RazorRC Awesome!
You should give hobaos nitros a shot! Decent value and they have a wide range, pretty tough too. Wonder how their hyper MT compares to the Savage X 🤔
There will be a Hobao nitro coming soon to the channel
Yessss! Loving the nitro content!
Please do a review on the Serpent Srx8 rtr Nitro buggy.
excellent video thanks, can you recommend a 1/8 rtr nitro car that is current and modern thanks regards, losi, kyosho or hpi which is better...
I've been wanting to get into this myself what would you recommend for my first time I'm not a racer but I do prefer the 1/8 buggy platform not really in the HPI heard nothing but headaches when it comes to that company
What platform do you think can make for a speed rocket 🚀 great video. Thank you for sharing your love 💯
Hi, im looking at getting into nitro racing, im thinking about getting the kyosho 3.0, it looks great.😀
That’s for your review
Bro!! I love RC racing. Once you go once you get hooked!!!
Do you have a race nitro?
I wish we had a track like that in my area, finding a track in WA State is nearly impossible
Depending where in Washington your at. There's one in Burlington
I literally bought my first nitro because of your reviews, again. I got the revo 3.3 Still havent even run it yet, it's just so beautiful. I'm getting this kyosho next, was thinking the stadium truck as well.
Cool! Make sure you run the cars before buying more, I love it, but it’s not for everyone.
@@RazorRC I bought two used ones, and they were what got me hooked. A savage X and a Losi 810 with the auto start. I was hooked in about 5 seconds.
cool rc buggies, great info on them, have a great Thanksgiving
Thank you, happy Thanksgiving!
@@RazorRC thank you
spur gear part number for that mp?
12:58 yeah that tower was the weakest point in 2.0 version.
One flip-over and you have a bended front tower :/
Kyosho Nr 1 👍

Does the kyosho have 4 spider gear diffs or 2 like the losi

also the kyosho seems to be like $400 more than the losi here in canada at great hobbies. weird.

@@vivos71 accurate. Lol
Brilliant video mate nice truck great info 👍👌
I really like the looks of the HPI and looks are important to me. Unfortunately women feel the same way which is why I'm single😢
cool beans dude

If I buy used I get all stuff I need. Including 5 liter nitro fuel.
Can you do this 1/8th scale electric? 😆
Just skip the part where I talk about the engine, and BAM, there you have it! 😀
Mugen Seki.The best.
Can't compare engines if they don't have the same tires springs and everything else
That makes no sense. That’s like saying you can’t compare tires unless the cars have the same engines.
@@RazorRC to compare the engine on the cars you have to have to same exact variables... How you gone have the same variables if the on two different Bodies.... I'm done with you
Nice
Nitro rc has not really advanced through the years compared to its electric counterpart. I love nitro still though.
❤🎉😢😮😅😊ไฟไฟแหพำ
why do you have such a sad little intro tune lol.
