Day 19 -quick Tip: Seam rippers are the perfect tool for neatly cutting the plastic on a canvas. Especially for any that divide their canvas up with washi tape or my preference, whiteboard tape.

Thanks for a lovely WIP and Waffle. I had to chuckle at some of the dog stories and reminds dme of a couple of things my Labrador who crossed over the rainbow bridge a few years ago. My husband who was at home had a knock at the door and was greeted by a couple of children with a "hey mister is this your dog?' The side gate had been left open and she was in the garden and could hear the children playing in the street so wandered out to watch them. Needless to say she was told to get in and the gate was shut and locked. She wasn't doing any harm just wanted to play with the childen.
Another time she jumped the fence between us and our neighbours- something she only did the once. Our neighbours daughter who was of school age had the freight of her life when she was Dudley aware our dog had wandered. into their house and sitting room and just wanted to say 'hello'.

Hi everyone! In our household, hubby is the one that usually does the wash when it is needed. He is home all day as he is retired and I still have just over a year to go before I am retired. We live in the US, so after he completes the wash, he puts it in the dryer. If I am home when a load needs to be done, we will fold the clothes and put them away together. However, there is only the two of us as we are empty nesters. When my girls lived at home, they did their own laundry. Every so often when my oldest comes over, she will bring a load of clothes over to wash as she lives in an apartment and has to pay to wash her clothes. When my youngest still lived in the same state as us, she would also bring laundry over to wash. We always had them come to our house every other week for family dinner. It was a way for us to get to see our girls. Before my youngest moved away, it was becoming more difficult for my oldest to make it. Now, my oldest comes over when she can and we will have dinner together with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.
Regarding the mistaken identity of the 4th of June waffle being the 4th of July, I did catch that. My ears perked up as I was wondering where the month of June had gone and why we were doing the WIP & Waffle in July and on my birthday!
Thank you again Rebecca and family for what all of you do for us Zesties!

😂 just laughing at the flooding washing machine xx I thought my tumble dryer was smoking the other day but I think it was due to the heat from the items that were being dried. I have a heightened sense of smell due to sensory issues so I was on high alert. Dad came to the rescue and confirmed all was ok :)

I'm watching in much needed air conditioning. It's 96 degree F which is 35 degree Celsius. We washed 7 gravestones in the family cemetery and I grilled hamburgers outside on a grill. I'm exhausted. So I am using your videos to beat the heat.

forgot to mention, I was looking through the site ,The One with The diamond Art, for any new DP's and came across a J-wall i had never seen before. As I was adding it to my wish list I noticed that they have started offering the option for you to get it in either black and white or in color. I am so very happy they did this. As soon as i fix my van, which is acting up, im going to buy one. I will keep you all posted.

I used to do the all washing in our house but I got so fed up with Pjelly leaving things in her pockets and clothes half inside out, so now we do our own 😂👍💚

Regarding the comment from Cathy. I live in California in the mountains. We have over 1/2 acre of property and half of it is wooded. We have 3 fence lines on our property to divide the area up. The first fence is wooden which makes up of our side yard, the second fence (wire) finishes up the side yard to a semi-wooded area than makes up for extra parking such as RV or boat or extra vehicles and the third finishes up the extra parking area and leads into an area that is just wooded. We deer that come on our property quite often and will find them not just in the wooded area but also in the extra parking area. They will jump the fence if they want to. The deer here are not domesticated at all. Sometimes they walk on the other side of the house, but to get to our extra parking, they still will have to jump a fence. We have had adults and juveniles.
We actually had to help one of the juveniles. Momma and 2 babies were in the extra parking area when momma decided to jump the fence into the wooded area. One of the babies was not able to make the jump (although he jumped over in the first place). We went and opened the gate to that area and went back in the house (our living room, dining room and kitchen all have windows to see the property) and watched from inside the house. The baby finally made it back to momma. The other managed to jump the fence. The gate was quite a distance from the baby. We did not get anywher close to him/her.

    Hi everyone,
My week for diamond painting has been slow as I've been watching CSI episodes. When you mentioned the item that's wrong with the plumbing my mind automatically went to the aleas Phoebe used in friends "Regina Phalange" which totally made my day.

I just looked at the temperature and it is shocking here in New Brunswick, Canada. It's 32 C with a feel like temperature of 42. Air con is a must.

Hi Rebecca! It’s set! My niece’s ticket is booked and she will definitely be coming here a month. Now I need to get a diamond painting that’s good for a beginner and good quality, choose a first crochet project (I really want to do amigurumi, which is 3D crochet projects stuffed with stuffed animal stuffing - I did those with Rainbow Loom bands years ago) and work up to a blanket. I also want to get a copy of Just Dance for my Nintendo Switch and Uno: No Mercy (there is a draw 100 card) for us to play. Plus a different edition of Monopoly since I don’t like the edition I own in how it’s different.
Also, that budget 30x40 I’ve been working on proves to be frustrating me still. I may do a section a day with you on that, and once I finish that, switch to my current project. It’s back to Cara Mia as I want to savor Cosmic Trip and my Summer with the Masters project isn’t in yet. There’s only half left of the budget, but between dusty drills and unclear symbols, I’m having no fun despite loving the image.

Hi Rebecca i have your UA-cam video up on my Xbox as well as on my phone as am posting comment from phone while listening to you on the xbox.
Im frantically trying to get DAC galaxy wild kitten cubs complete so i can move onto a square drill canvas at this point i dont even mind which kit so long as its square drills i forgot how much i dont like working on round drill kits.
Unfortunately im only at the end of the second row but on a happy note i tested negative for COVID today.
Sorry for the long comment and thank you for all that you do for us.

🤶 Guess I am one of the lucky ones. Hubby not only is he Santa, he also does all the cooking, cleaning and laundry. If we go to Hobby Lobby or the dollar store he refuses to let me pay. He opens the doors for me and I'd a total gentleman. While with mom and Daddy I am doing all for them and realizing just how lucky I am. I am dotting with mom while dad sleeps which he does a lot these days.

Actually, there’s some science between why people get sick around the time of temperature change; there’s a few reasons. For one, heat generally does better at killing off most germs than cold does, heat killing them faster than the cold. Add in being all bundled up inside -in normally closer quarters- it helps spread infection. Also, when the temperature goes from hot or cold or vice versa, not only does it flare up pollens and the such, but it also has our immune systems going: “Wait? What? It was just cold and now it’s hot? How do we function? We haven’t seen these types of germs in ages!” With global warming causing seasons and temperatures going haywire, it’s putting our immune systems in metaphorical overdrive, causing them to weaken from overuse.
