Loving You’s a Dirty Job (But Somebody’s Gotta Do It) - Bonnie Tyler Cover

This is SUCH a beautiful Jim Steinman song. I don't feel this song received the attention it should have. So.... I am posting another smule recording of it... for a second time! Somebody's gotta do it, right? (sorry, couldn't resist, haha) -- There are many aspects of Jim's music that are incredible and tremendous, and I won't begin to list them all now. I will say, one in particular that ties to this recording is this: Jim's music, whether you're listening to it on repeat or singing it over and over again, for me (as a devoted listener/fan and as someone who just wholeheartedly enjoys singing these songs), the best way to say it is, "there's always something magic, there's always something new." You just never know where these songs can take you.

Jim Steinman la composition Bonnie Tyler en chant principal et Rory Dodd en voix vedette sur la première version de 1985. Une seconde est enregistrée avec la voix de Todd Rundgren et des vocaux de fond son rajouter interprété par Rory Dodd. Cette version sortira en 1986 sur l'album. La version de par Rory Dodd et je crois pas sorti ou alors en bonus

Well, there you have it! Yet another killshot cover from Lauren Bradley! This is a one-off, remarkably stunning performance! The original featured the legendary Jim Steinman’s trademark over-the-top, inimitable production genius - background singers, layered over background singers, resting on the spine of orchestral boom-bravado-gone-bombast-booyah! Here we have only Lauren and a piano and a karaoke computer app - and Lauren somehow impossibly, what - prevails?! I don’t know, no way - but, yeah, maybe! What? How can that be??? As the dedicated subscribers to Lauren’s channel surely know, I’ve previously offered to ante up $1,000.00 toward production of an “LB/Meat Loaf - Steinman” cover album - songs and production values solely at her discretion! But it seems that’s almost too little, but hopefully not too late - I’m raising to $2,000.00. (And if you think I’m bluffing - I very much hope you do - go ahead and call :) Godspeed!
