The litter box is changed frequently and i changed it today and she normally poo in the litter box. just recently she poos on the carpet i had her for 2 months. She LOVE where her litter box is.

Have you not been cleaning up after the accidents? You should be cleaning each accident up thoroughly. Bleach is actually fine to use for poop on carpets, I've done it many times but if you're unsure, test a small spot of your carpet first. I like to use a watered down bleach spray, Lysol spray, and sometimes carpet cleaner but honestly, baking soda and vinegar helps more. I just had to use all 4 of those on my cats diarrhea! I just don't get why she does this randomly!
Also, I highly recommend grass or wheat seed litter. It has a very pleasant smell, it clumps, and best of all, NO dust! It's hard to find a place that carries it so shop around. I'm surprised more pet owners aren't talking about it yet, but they will!

so I have a cat that was previously an outdoor cat at my old house but due to the change in environment he is now an indoor one, he pees in the littler box and poops in there some times, but more often than not he’ll find a nice fancy carpet to poop on, and it gets me and my dad so angry, I love this cat sm and i’ve had him for 6 years, but i’m not a huge fan of the pooping on carpet thing, please help :)
In this case, we can only recommend for proper potty training. And it'll take time and patience, as your kitty is already grown up enough!

Im having the same problem but my cat is 5 months. Also sometimes he poop in the box and sometimes out the box. But he never pee outside it.
My boy cat is 6.5 months old. He had got moist dermatitis and was on medication of cefpodoxime proxetile and potassium clavulanate oral suspension and another one is itraconazole oral solution BP 10 mg . And since than he had been suffering from loose stool and pooping outside litter box.....
. when i bought him, he was 40 days and he was perfectly litter trained. Never pooped outside the litter box...Recently i changed his litter box and also the litter . Plus we were giving him these oral suspension. He has been pooping outside. He is urinating in the litter box but pooping outside on mat or rug.
What could be the reason? I am worried. Please help!
Cats don't like litter boxes with lids. Don't use them for your cat. Get the ones without the lids. They are much better. And get yourselves a litter mat. It helps.

I dont know what to do though
My cata aren't litter box trained. They have been trained to leave the house and poop and thats been working for over 2 years. Suddenly for a reason i dont get they keeo shitting in the house. Especially one of them. And i dint get ut cuz i know shes not afraid of going outside or incapable of doing so. Where i am a good litter box is 30k and thats without the sand.
We can understand your concern, in this case we would recommend you to gradually improve their potty training!
I have 2 cats. Their 6 months old. And sometimes the bigger one poos in the shower. Its an open shower with a curtain so its easy for him to go. Please help since it leaves a bad smell and he keeps pooing there
Sounds like your big kitty needs a reminder of where the litter box is. Try adding another box nearby or keeping the shower curtain closed to discourage the behavior. Happy to help with more tips! 🐾
I'm stressed to the bones, my litterbox is huge and ive shown my kitten video how to poop in the box by showing youtube videos but he still poop on floor arrgh! I put him in a cage where he can be there with the litterbox until it becomes trained.
In this case, only potty training can help you out!
My cat stopped pooping in his litter box seemingly out of nowhere. I realized he caught a parasite, so I got him dewormed but he won't poop in the litterbox anymore 🥲 He will pee there but not poop

My cat pees in the box but sometimes poops outside of it on the couch or bed. Took him to the vet 4 times and they couldn’t find anything wrong other than he may be constipated. I hired a cat behaviorist and my appointment is in 2 days, hopefully she can figure it out because I’ve tried everything. This whole thing has been happening on and off for the last year. Beginning to realize it is stress but since he lives with his brother maybe he is getting dominated and feels the need to mark? It’s like finding a needle in a haystack.

I got a kitten yesterday from a farm and they told me that he is nearly completely potty trained. But when I took him home he seemed like he really disliked it and would avoid it at any cost. I woke up to him in my bed cuddling me and a second later he went to sit down and suddenly started peeing on my floor. I went to put him in the litterbox after to kinda show him that he has to pee there ig, but as soon as i put him in he wants to get out as if he doesn‘t even wanna look at it. He is now 12,5 weeks old and i think by now he should be trained? It‘s my first tome owning a cat and I really need help 🥲

It's hit and miss but I changed his food and he hated that and pooped the floor. Also the blinds were closed so he couldn't look out. Thoes changes seemed to help but only the location of the poo. After the changes he was leaving it on the floor near the cat box
