My thing is....she still hasnt given a reason for the cancellation... in which her fans deserve that much due respecr
Its been since Mothers Day and she still hasnt came forward with an explanation.. Anita just a mean spirited woman her and Kim Burrell sumthin else.
Show our legends some grace??? How about showing your fans some grace?? This is a pattern ....... Not feeling you on that one 😮

I want to see Anita Baker 20 years ago and she was pulling shenanigans even then coming on stage an hour two hours late and only thing an hour. I would never go see Anita Baker in concert.
My only regret of Anita baker is .. not seeing her in concerts during her heyday... like during the 1980's. I got stood up by a guy who had promised to take me to the concert, she and Luther Vandross were on the same ticket back then and they were at the Premier Center in Michigan. So hopefully I'll get my chance after all these decades, but I don't want her to stand me up after all these years!! 😃 I'll wait until she comes back to my hometown so I won't have to travel far.. 😮 We've lost so many female artists over the decades .. Phyllis Hyman.. Teena Marie.. Aretha Franklin.. Betty Wright.. and the list is getting longer, so I'd like to see her before she officially retires for good... but not under these circumstances. 😂 I know who I'd like to see if she comes in concert in my hometown.. singer Alicia Myers!!! I love her music as well, I'm gonna look at her itinerary online to check her out. Cheers 🥂
I saw her a few years ago at Jazz in the Gardens. Idk if she was like this before, but she complained a lot during the performance. The music, the camera crew, the fans etc…That was the first and last time I’ll go see her in concert. I’ll just keep playing my CDs. Lol 😂

Let me say "we" show up for our legends. The Anitas bakers and Lauryn Hills but when your constantly not showing up.for your concerts constantly.there is no grace.
Well there is no grace in us as humans praising artists like the way yall do anyway 🤔the only person you should be celebrating and praising is Yahshua, Son Of Yahweh 🙌🏾😏
She's no older than Patti Labelle who Never canceled her shows and Diana Ross and the List goes on please spare me people should stop supporting these people they keep showing you who they are
What I really don't like is her being painted as a problem artist. We don't know all of what happened with Maxwell or Babyface, but she was automatically to blame. Face threw shade in his comments which led to death threats!
We've got to do better. We send these beautiful creatives thru far too much when all they're trying to do is make our world a little more beautiful. I hope she's well.
The rumors are true, I know guys who did her hair, she would rip the curlers from them and curl her own hair. She a rotten person just becuz she can sing she gets the pass

Sorry Anita IS a problem artist. Love her.. but she is the common denominator with thus behavior from days when she was on tour with Luther Vandross. Same issue. She cancelled shows. She needs to sit her ass down now..lol
Yea nah…Anita Baker is dead ass wrong for standing up Atlanta… it’s hard to respect said “legends” when these legends lack respect for the fans….. I pray her health is in tact but I wouldn’t even go to a free Anita show now… she’s older but not crazy…. Just mean…

The thing is for a fan, it was beyond a ticket and being refunded. The was a lot that went into the day...hotels, flights, car rental and high hopes.
And to think at the very least fans aren't owned an explanation. It's very disrespectful and inconsiderate on the part of Anita Baker and her team.
But we're expecting to fly back home or aimlessly roam around town, take it and shut up🤔
While I wish her well, I would never buy a ticket to her show.
Anita Baker is a older woman. We should have respect for peoples lives. I’m pretty sure she will either refund them their money or do another show.
Yes , Ms. Baker is an older woman now . With that said, there comes a time in our lives when in this case , she may need to consider perhaps retiring. Not only for herself, but for the sake of not treating her fans like this. Cause at the end of the day , don’t they deserve better ?
To all of you that read my comments, Sh*t happens 😏show up for Yahshua and show out🙌🏾🙂I am one who doesn’t go to concerts only because I am not of this world, and Yahweh would be proud of me, for not celebrating a human/person😏
If she was in Detroit her home town The concert would have never been canceled..
