Excellent job by your talent coordinator to have Hefner and Rollo May together. Refreshing to see two people of different opinions discuss a subject in a respectful manner. I’m curious to find May’s book and read for further references. Thanks for sharing this show. Is there a place where I can watch Cavett’s shows in their entirety?
Dear Dick Cavett show, As yesterday marked 42 years since his death, can you please, please upload interview clips of the late, great Robert Shaw. He was such an interesting and engaging guest appearing on the show at least 4 times. It would be great to see his appearance with Woody Allen: Woody Allen/Robert Shaw/Beverly Sills/Jacqueline Wexler (29 Dec. 1969) Thanks in advance.
Intelligent discourse on TV in the past makes it impossible for me to watch late night shows these days Old people aren't wrong - things were better in the 'good old days' in many ways (but obviously not every way)
Nobody forced those girls to pose. They willingly agreed to the money they were offered to be touched up in order to look their best. To try and "victimize" them is to label them as weak and vulnerable.
i have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Art Carney or Jackie Gleason? How about any Honeymooners actors that were a part of the main cast?
Hugh Hefner was a shrewd entrepreneur and understood that sex sells. Simple as that. Projecting psychology or politics onto his work is a bit of a reach.
leave it to a feminist to reduce the opinion of a professional of the mind to the sex of the professional rather than to dispute the bases, development, evolutionary or historical weights of an argument....

👆🏻 So , even before 50 years ago in 1970 , folks were also complaining that LOVE back then lacked COMMITMENT 💔🙈
Can you post his interview with Gloria Steinem? I can’t find it anywhere. :)

Holy moly is that Grace Slick!?
Yes, that's her.
Hi I am here
Hugh Hefner was a shrewd entrepreneur and understood that sex sells. Simple as that. Projecting psychology or politics onto his work is a bit of a reach.
But you absolutely have to navigate both as a result.
Sex without love sounds like my kind of life.
PERVERT
read the book with the tissues// lol.. thanks for the indignity
I too defend it, hee hee
ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz.......that doctor was soooooooooo boring.
Leave it to an old white man with glasses to explain what's right and wrong for a woman to do with her own body 😂

I don’t know why his race matters. “Old white man?” Disrespectful. That’s all you got from the interview. Interesting.
@@juandavidandiongonalez6584 did I say I was a feminist?
I should've known this comment would drag out the neckbeards.....
@@codyt821 nice shaming tactics
First
Wow that’s incredible
Hugh Hefner
is horribly Pointless 👎🏻
Grace Slick was a major turn-on for me back then. Just a turn-on.
