Stu, what are books? Hahahahaha That's a great book you have, I have a copy of the same book. I too did the same thing in Jr High. The first Trapping book I read was "The Complete book of Trapping" by Bob Gilsvik back in '88-89. I think that these upcomingvideo series will help a lot of guys out! Have a good one bud.

Looking forward to the series. I have learned a lot from your fur handling but still run into issues where I wonder if my fleshing job caused issues. Maybe you can address how to know how far to take it. Fleshing the fat vs. membrane vs thinning the skin. Thanks!

I heard you mention pressure washing tech. Can you please cover this in your upcoming presentation pros/cons? This tech may be less expensive getting involved. Can you get some close up video of what the pelts are suppose to look like as you move through the various processes. I hope you'll cover the amount, sizes and types of stretchers you would recommend for starting out in the skinning shed. Where to buy or make the materials would be helpful. Thanks Stu for all your efforts and giving back to the sport!!!!

Looking forward to this set of vids! I think I have trouble with "over fleshing" maybe, and taking it to far...maybe you could address that? Thank you for the time you take to share your knowledge Stu!!!Jason M

Awesome, looking forward to it! Would appreciate it if you could add the fleshing of larger hides, like a deer and/or bear. I'm trying to make it a point of utilizing every deer I harvest, including tanning all hides. Thanks!

Thanks for all the knowledge, couple ideas for future videos also...you said you tan and make some garments also with some? maybe show some things you have done? is there a good way to remove some coyotes and beaver "smell" for stuff when making homemade stuff like hats and blankets? Just some other things I think would be cool to see! Again, thanks for all the knowledge!

Sounds like it's going to be a season worth watching, just a pity the bit I want to see the most is in series 5, but I do look forward to the other 4 as well. Keep up the good work. I know you've covered tanning a couple of years ago but I've never seen you doing bark tanning, is that because of the length of time it takes or the quality of the tan?
