Interestingly, the Super "freeze" can make life easier but it requires you waiting to see the freeze before you input your counter response.
Things may get messy if you "wait" for the super freeze and they just do a drive meter specific invincible reversal.
This tech is definitely to be used with caution!

for what button you cancel to DRC-oB -15 is how negative you are. for example Standing HP DRC into block is -5. I think its his only button ryu cant OD dp

Dont forget that an down mk cancel drive rush into jab is blockstring, so they can't lvl 1 or reversal during your drive rush, you can bait with that too

It's a valid point when on the receiving end of a DRC. If you're planning on punishing it with a reversal. You should get no input if it's a true string and just get block

It is an incredibly high risk option with a disproportionately low return. If this gets blocked, you lose. It is fine as it is.
I don't like the mind games either, it's risky, especially in the raw drive rush situation.
But it's things like this you can't overlook when facing good players. I know if somebody did DRC to burn themselves out against me I'd commit to inputted super to chip them.
But knowing this situation now, I'd maybe think twice..
