He is one of Naruto's oldest friends, and despite his lazy demeanor, Shikamaru does care for Naruto, even back when hebwas a kid, asking why people avoid Naruto. He really is a bro for him.
I love the Storm games. Even the attention to details. The fact they made an animation walk of Naruto utterly depressed really pushes the idea of how much they put into these games. Call the fighting too easy or repetitive, but its the small details like the animation walk that really push passion in ones work.

Yeah, Jiraiya's death was one of the big scenes where I wished Hinata were there. She'd definitely comfort him, and no doubt hold him. And as Naruto cries in Hinata's arms, he feels loved due to Hinata showing him by embracing him and gently stroking the back of his head, and he forms a smile as he sleeps in Hinata's arms.

In the anime I cried during this scene and watching this again just made me scream. Tsunade at first I expected her to lash back out at him but she didn't and just let Naruto get angry out of grief. How this scene was written was realistic. She just let him get angry at her and I resepct Tsunade for keeping it together. Tsunade and Jiriya are one of my most favorite characters.
I think Tsunade's thankful to Naruto, since Naruto represented her own emotions and said what she wanted to say to herself when he lashed at her. That's the reason she can keep herself together, short as it may seem.

This scene between iruka and naruto is a very beautiful and touching moment it's very clear to see the developers when they were working on this game they wanted to make it as heartfelt and as close to the original source material as possible. The music. The atmosphere and the dialogue truly sells it. Which is why naruto storm 2 will to myself be one of the greatest naruto video games to ever come into life.
Not only do I very much sympathize with Naruto here, but this is a great characterization of an iconic personality written in a grieving, emotionally vulnerable moment while still being in-character of him. It's also a very heartwarming touch that the other characters all express concern for him.
This gives me early yakuza vibes, the way the camera automatically moves in a preset way, the amount of people, I think that would work really well with Naruto
