I went back to look for a replacement and they had a small space led kit that came with the strip, remote, and an LED dimmable bulb which only cost like $14.88 instead of 12.88 for just the single strip so I got that instead cuz I figured for $2 more why not.
Okay, so I figured it out if you didn’t, this also works… Unplug the connector to the lights (both the usb, the one that plugs into the lights, not the wall plug in) try unplugging, then plugging back in, and if that doesn’t work, all you have to do it unplug it, and turn it the other way and plug it back in, it sounds so simple but it worked for me 😂 Hope this helps 👌 Thank you for this video! 😁 saved me a couple bucks 😉

I bought the 6.5ft x 3 LED strips in the US last week. I’m back home in Canada trying to set them up, i have tried multiple different sets of batteries and the remote still won’t work. There is no red dot in the middle, which means i obviously can’t pair it. I can’t return this product and i also can’t get a hold of monster to explain what is going on. Seems now like a huge waste of money. Any solution?
madison russell If the ring doesn't activate when you press a button, either the battery or the remote control is not working. This is a different issue from normal. We haven't experienced many bad remotes.

After a while, the remote stops working and the light in the center of the ring doesn't activate anymore? That's usually an indication of a bad battery. Ours did that earlier in the year when it was time to change the battery.

I have a good little setup of like 4 light strips and 4 bulbs paired to two different remotes (strips on one, bulbs on another) and the only problem I have is I LITERALLY HAVE TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTES EVERY SINGLE DAY lmao. This is not an accurate statement. The red light should ALWAYS turn on when you press a button. It is an indicator that the remote is accepting your commands.
We just got the remote out of the box and it will not connect. It won’t even blink 3 times when holding the S+ button. We’ve watched the videos. Read the instructions and nothing.

I have theses from November 2019 two boxes and they have never turned on. This is crazy and a rip off. It was the money I worked for and they just took it and sold me a piece of crap product. Today was the last time I am trying to get this to work. GE here I come!

Sometimes all you have to do is change the batteries or take them out and put them back in, it worked for me

Hey can you guys help me please? I have a 2033 one and the light was working when I plugged it in and stopped working all of a sudden, the remote works but the lights doesn't turn on and I tried everything ! Pls help me fast I hope you see this I'm dying here

There's definitely a red light. If you aren't able to get even the remote to work, there's a bigger problem there.
I just installed it in my room I got t he light bulb working but the strip didn’t work when I tried stick it to my wall and and I charged the strip for like maybe 5 minutes
The strip does not have a battery, so you will not charge it. They must be plugged in to function.

That is everyone's problem, unfortuantely. There is a big defect with the product. There have been people who say it works if you go through the pairing process, remove the batteries from the remote, and put them back. Others have suggested that holding the remote to the control unit while pairing works. Our recommendation is to try the new SKU instead: bit.ly/MonsterLedStripS

So I got these a couple weeks ago and they worked just fine! I turned them off and when I came back to turn them on again it wont come on...

so i have 2 LED light strips in my room and they both connected to one remote and one of them doesnt change the same as the other one even if it turn it off and on one light turns normal white and the other is baby blue it all started when i kept it on for like 8pm-8am and i woke up with it with 2 different colors

This is not an accurate statement. The red light should ALWAYS turn on when you press a button. It is an indicator that the remote is accepting your commands.
What is the control doesn’t work. I get no red light when pressing keys.
We just got the remote out of the box and it will not connect. It won’t even blink 3 times when holding the S+ button. We’ve watched the videos. Read the instructions and nothing.
Macy & Tyler Simpson Having watched the video, you know that there's a massive defect in the devices. Unfortunately, we've only encountered one build of the control unit that has worked. We don't have a lot of hope for a solution for this generation of products.
We had to go through 4 boxes at Walmart and made them plug them in before we got them. Going with a different brand for sure.

i hv the 1929A but for the wire tag it says 1908. whenever i plug it in and i try to change the color n so the remote wont work or cooperate w the strips 😭
leslievuee It definitely seems like there are two versions of 1929A. Lots of people have said 1908 is bad as well.

I bought the one with a bulb and a strip and at first the remote worked with both but i noticed the strip wasnt in sync with the bulb so i unpaired both the strip and the bulb and when i was trying to repair them the bulb worked totally fine but the led strip refuses to repair and i dont know why please help i have no idea what to do
Katie Daniels I bought the same one but my strip didn’t work only my bulb did when I first turned them on. Did your light strip work when you plugged it in? Cuz mine didn’t
@@kimberygarcia4319 yes do the little pins match up where you connect them. Like g with g r with r b with b and +5v with +5v i didnt match them at first but i realized they need flipped

I have theses from November 2019 two boxes and they have never turned on. This is crazy and a rip off. It was the money I worked for and they just took it and sold me a piece of crap product. Today was the last time I am trying to get this to work. GE here I come!
Unfortunately, Walmart refuses to pull the product despite our attempts. Hopefully, the GE units will work better for you. Let us know about your experiences.

victor domingez The LED doesn't work at all? Make sure you have the control unit plugged in the correct direction with the Monster logo facing forward.

victor domingez Sounds like you've still got a dud. We've had a couple of people tell us they've had issue with the control unit batch.
