This mission is incredibly hard for slow players like me... Saracens would eventually go full post imp with arbs, champs, SO, Siege Rams, Elite Mamelukes etc. It's very hard to stop them from razing buildings. Also once the turks destroy some buildings they start to snowball really hard (particularly against Byzantine) and basically has infinite gold units like the old HD campaigns...
Viper if you want a challenge, you could really try this mission while allowing the Turks to raze some buildings and wait till Saracens get almost all imp upgrades! It is the hardest mission of the entire DLC imo.
Chapter 3 is missing in the Playlist: 'AOE2:DE - Tamar Campaign 3. The Protectorate'
32:52 curious, even though the Zakarian Brothers had 3 buildings razed, neither Saracens or Rum Sultanate had razed a building according to the scoreboard
I let them raise 4 buildings in this campaign and then i was stuck fighting a two front war against Post Imp saracens and turks ...
I think there really should be a Very Hard difficulty for high level players like Viper, in this scenario the Saracens could have had a small band of troops that attack immediately against a small band of Armenian spearman and bowman and maybe like 2 of your own monaspa, then the AI should simply continue regularly attacking but include 1 or 2 rams to start and work their way to more rams as time goes on. This would force the player to react immediately and invest in both military and economy from the start, instead of giving these high skilled players like 7 minutes to build up and steam roll the map.
The thing i notice the most in Viper's replays is that the AI simply take too long to be aggressive so a Very Hard difficulty should just attack on pretty much every scenario straight away.
the sidequests on this mission were fun but i think the mechanic with enemys getting stronger the more buildings they raze and the objective to push the seldjuks by yourself act against each other, i lost only 1 single building, probably the devs made it too easy so u can still win the mission even with a "bad" start
19:35 ... a literal reading of the objective is the correct reading.
Love seeing these sprinkled in here and there.
Viper I think you should maybe spend a few hours to fully complete a campaign in one day and then you are able to regularly upload one every week, I don't think people would care if you did that and that way you only need to spend half a day each month or so playing these campaigns.
I get that they may be easy and not so challenging for you, but as someone mostly watches your campaign videos and a few multiplayer videos here and there, it kinda sucks to only see these once a fortnight.
😂
Do this more often please Viperrr
Hello!! I doing a campaign! Tomb Raider!! Hope you can try any time!! Regards!!
wow 6 months later you give us another episode no one cares anymore. either post them back to back or dont at all
search smth for work men...
It was 2 weeks ago but okay☠️
The salt there is real. Why do you get to determine what the Viper uploads and when?
It’s a strange choice. In 3 months, once every video is uploaded and the playlist is made, it won’t matter.
But until then, yeah, I really don’t feel like scrubbing through the other vids in the series just so I can catch up on the story.
These weirdos in this comments section apparently never play campaigns. They think these are just completely standalone scenarios or something?
Go through every one of Viper’s Campaign uploads. Every single vid has multiple people wondering “why not just upload them in series?” All of that negative feedback would be so easily avoided.
this is probably the dumbest way to seek attention
