    📝 Description:
Hey everyone, Mike here! Today, we're looking at the incredible pace at which AI is surpassing human performance in various fields. From handwriting recognition to speech technology, and even complex tasks like reading comprehension and code generation, AI's growth is breathtaking.
We'll delve into how quickly AI models have evolved to outdo human capabilities, and discuss the potential of transformative AI, likened to the Industrial Revolution in its impact. We're also touching on the scaling hypothesis and what the future holds for AI - think human-level AI and AGI within the next few years!
Join me as we explore the AI landscape, including how it's shaping our future in space exploration. Plus, I'll share my thoughts on the educational focus for future generations in this AI-driven world. In fairness I've been a coder since about 1982 and in the last year I could count on one hand the amount of scripts I wrote in python.

Anyone capable of decent programming knows that AI coders suck balls. Especially if your build is more than like 50 lines. It just canot comprehend the bigger picture even if you remind it. It just forgets after a few prompts so if you're like 10 chats in and ask it to optimize an old prompt because of inconsistencies, it will fail because it wont remember

This is the biggest non-argument I always see. As a fellow software engineer, I 100% agree on all of those current limits, as I’ve run into them constantly too when trying to use AI for productivity. However, let’s not forget this is barely over a year old at this point. This certainly won’t be the case in a year or few more, and certainly not when AGI does get released for commercial use. It’s natural to act like this and say impulsive comments as a defense and coping mechanism. When it does replace all programmers, we’ll be coasting on UBI since most things will be automated, so I’m not even against it.

@@dan-cj1rr Lol true, I'm just annoyed when people are like "omg programming is solved". Its impressive sure, but to say he doesnt program is definitely BS. The amount of adjustments and nudging it, reminding it, its unbelievable when working on relatively big projects. Its cool with HTML but even then, if you're making a multi page website, its useless because it forgets. The inconsistency is frustrating af.

@@ZenTheMC Low level code assistents have existed for nearly 50 years. Obviously not on this level now but to say its only been a year is ludacris. Thats like saying AI is as new as when Open AI released its first GPT in what 2011 when the truly first AI demonstration dates waaaaaaaayy back in the 50's I think

@@ZenTheMC I agree with the UBI movement. Its 100% impossible that the future does not end up in this way. Eventually the robots will make the robots and the government will invoke a 99% tax to fund UBI and even then the rich will get uber rich and the people will get whatever they want as long as its a reasonable quantity. I think the world will have a global credit system where if you abuse the free market, you are eligible for lesser and lesser goods down to the bare minimum to live comfortably and if your credit is perfect then you are eligible to travel the planet, other planets, buy or build whatever etc.

AI Technology need to control human beings brain because some people brain needed to be self control by AI. One the major thing I up to understand is that AI give you a self control!!!!!
