- Full user review of the 2020 Yamaha Raptor 90's performance, features and maintenance. Great little Yamaha four wheeler for kids. This one is constantly ridden by kids ages from 4-13 yrs old. A few adults from time to time. The bike in general is very stable and has a wider stance. Goes about 30 mph with the under-the-seat jumper removed. Has reverse and large foot wells which is great for kids.

I did end up picking one up. They are very cool quads. I was going to get a raptor and a Grizzly 90 but got a Raptor and a Kymco 150 for the utility.

Their big boy quads are unreliable, but fun as hell. But their little quads are somewhat reliable.

@@lidgard88 I meant engine hour meter/maintenance. How often do you change the oil? Im surprised to see how often people change the oil on atv’s compared to cars

i just bough my son a grizzly 90 wich is the same as this and it stalls when going through puddles of water, does yours have the same problem?
This is a rebadged Polaris Outlaw 90 after watching this review. We have a 2014 Polaris Outlaw 90 and except for a body update and a few changes (no daylight running lights or rear brake light, kickstarter removes), its the same. Polaris has since moved up to a 110cc and EFI vs carb. Still running great!
Both made by aeon, both rebadged aeons. Or “made under licence”
Any idea how many miles you can squeeze out of a tank with typical riding from a smaller kid?

If you bought the polaris outlaw 90 or 110 it has running head and taillights brake light and horn, The polaris and yamaha 90s are basically identical made by kymco but to each of their own specs.
How are you working the choke? Just bought one of these and no one at the store told me about the choke. Four wheeler won’t stay crunk. Are you starting the lever at the left or the right?
Start with the lever all the way to the left for the choke to be fully engaged. Fully to the right is choke OFF
I fitted a similar led bar and blue leds inside the fake headlights, trail tech cluster to keep an eye on run times and more importantly for the kids “top speed” made by aeon. It’s written on the case 👍

It comes with the bike under the seat by default it's already installed
You can just put a short piece of wire under the screw terminals, no need for any special metal piece.
Very nice. How tall are your kids? I'm looking to get this same raptor for my 6 year old. For his age he does very well with a 110 China special, he controls it very well and is good enough to use no throttle stop, so it Flys with him on it. I see yamaha has an age of 10 and up for this 90 but my boy is 4'7" tall haha needless to say he's physically out grown the China 110. Thanks
He will fit the raptor better. We have the china quads also for our kids
4 Kids are range 46" up to 60"
The raptor is what we got him, he loves it

Unfortunately no. Spent about an hour and $50 and put on a front and back light with switch.

CVT , pain full transmission problems like it car ?
No, the cvt is smooth and constant - no gear shifting like a car. Pretty simple design.
