I absolutely LOVE my TS-480 and I have to say they sound terrific on the air. I do a lot of AM on various bands, especially 10-meter AM but one thing I've noticed is a lot of the smaller "mini" size amateur transceivers don't usually sound too good on AM but the TS-480 sounds phenomenally great just using the stock microphone. I also have a TS-2000 and it also performs exceptionally well on AM. I have been seriously impressed with my 480 and I highly recommend this transceiver!
Bom, eu não faço CW. Em SSB e AM os filtros não fazem falta nenhuma. Em CW o TCXO ajuda a não ficar saindo da frequencia, e o filtro estreita a banda, diminuindo o QRM, ajudando muito.

sim. Se for comprar um TS 480 e por os filtros, vale a pena comprar um TS 590SG já de uma vez.

Just a shame that there is no Fast band tuning function. Very slow to go up and down the band.
use the multi knob will do the trick
