Good tips. I would recommend that people NEVER rely on the auto-focus for video on this camera. I have always been disappointed - which is in complete contrast to photography, where I've pretty much always found the AF reliable! So many times I've attempted (using all the video settings that people recommend) video using the AF and have been left with unusable video output...... so frustrating it's not worth the risk for me. Interestingly, you can still use 'tap to focus' on the LCD screen when using MF (on an AF lens)!

I usually use the g85 to take pics at outdoor festivals. Im looking at having different cameras and lenses for different settings.

It's a good idea, I use My Lumix for weddings after the cake is cut, and I use my Canon R6 for the main images! Thanks for watching!

I'm doing a wedding soon.. all I have is the G85. So I'm doing the whole wedding with it. What lens is best for this event? 12-35 2.8 or 35-100 2.8?? I also own the 42.5 1.7. Thanks!!

I would never advise doing a wedding with only one camera. Maybe look at adding a rental camera with it. With that said, the 12-35 (24-70) f2.8 would be your best choice. The 35-100 (70-200) is too much of a zoom for group pictures. Hang on to the 42.5 (85mm) will be great for couple and individual shots. I highly recommended renting an extra camera. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
