Kampot is a wonderfully chilled city in the south of Cambodia, set on a large river that flows into the ocean at Kep.
Kampot's nature is stunning - it's surrounded by mountains from Kep to around the back of Kampot and down towards Sihanoukville.

We would love to find out more about, “how to find a house or apartment in Kampot”, and “what are reasonable prices for them.” We personally don’t want anything big or fancy.

@@robshealthcrunch we don’t know exactly when, but all going well, it will be later on this year. We will also looking for a school to teach English in, as that will be our income.
@@bigroundwatermelon6456 ok, then let me give you a tip. It's possible to get an English teaching job in Kampot but there are not many schools and I believe all positions are taken. Instead, I recommend you apply to Preply.com where you can teach people all over the world online. They are hiring, and pay up to $22 an hour once you have established yourself for a month or so. That's a far better way to go and gives you the freedom to work from anywhere.
How much for a 1 bdroom apt i Kampot? I live in Thailand but tax changes are making me think I should split time.
