All that I've found in internet is on how to do a particular methodology while you explain even the reasons behind a methodology or a background of the things... Awesome :)
Best explanation. Fluid in procedure, well articulated, detailed, properly paced. Just the best. Ready for my final tomorrow. Thanks to this, much appreciated! We want more please!
kindly please explain " what to do when basic to basic is negative", while finding loop? and my other question is that " what to do when more than one variable becomes zero ? thanks.
What if you have 2 equal non basic variable solutions as the largest values for a minimization problem. Which value should you choose or doesn't it matter because they are equal?
I want to know if i choose the most negative number in non basic variables to do a loop then i get all values positive in non basic variable then i will get optimal solution for this transportation problem?
what if it's a max problem ? are we going to look for the most mines values for none basic variables and then draw a loop then we will look for the minimum value for odd numbers ? or we will look for the maximum value for the odd number ?
If you recall, when solving a problem using a max or min problem, min test implementation is the same. similarly, if the objective function is maximization, then you need to find the most negative value for none-basic variables but the rest of the process is the same. it means that you draw a loop and then will look for the minimum value for odd numbers and so forth.
thanks a lot .... you are the best on youtube who explains this subject with most solid and clear way ..

I really thank you for such useful materials, I couldn't find pdf you attached (it says in info "Each Video is attached with a pdf Document Containing the Problem Solved in the Video.") and Part 2-3 and 2-4 videos.
In this case, you have a degenerate solution. Typically, this happens when you implement the min test and subtracting the min value of odd cells. if when you do the subtraction, two of the cells become zero, as oppose to one cell, then you have less than m+n-1cells that are basic. it means you have a basic variables that is actually zero. To resolve the issue and be able to solve the problem, you need to add a small amount (epsilon) to one of the two cells that have become zero. This way you can consider that cell as basic when you write the equations and also creating a loop for the next step, if needed.
+Magdalene Tam in the degenracy condition, you can assume that the basic variable that has a value of zero can take a a very small value (epsilon). This way you can write your Ui+vj-Cij=0 equation for that cell and calculate the Ui and Vj associated to it. Also , you can include that cell as one of the corners when you create a loop. hope this helps.

Thank you very much. You make the iteration of transportation problem very clear. Thanks again.
Thank you so much. Very well explained. Very helpful !
This was VERY well explained. Thank you!
your explanation is great
thanks for giving your time for complete strangers
Your whiskey tastes great too. Thanks for giving your time for complete drunkards.
Great video. Very well explained. Thank you.
Thank you so much. very helpful!
you are a life saver!
Thank you for this video, it helps a lot.
Very helpful! Thank you!
you are a life saver thanks a lot
Great videos ! Very helpful and easy to understand. I wanted to ask you if this video is about the MODI method? Best regards.
Good work @Shokoufeh Mirzaei... (This is Saum)
Helped me a lot. Nice job.
thank u ..:) explained very well ..:)
Thanks . Very Helpful.
thanks, helps a lot
Awesome Explanation
thanks very helpful
great videos n cool voice... tomorrow's exam xD
Thanks!

your voice is very beautiful. thanxs
Thank you
thaaanks!
What if i got one "zero" in non-basic variable equations and all other vars. is negative values, shall i do another iteration or this is the optimum?
Well explained. Many thanks dude.
+Adedini Oluwasogo well, I am not a dude, but thank you!
lol
U have a sweet voice
Hey this is very helpful! can you add an example of an assignment problem and dynamic problem?thank you
+Adilson Incencio yes, assignment problem will be up soon.
Do you know how soon? I have an exam next Monday I would like see you walk trough an example
What if you have 2 equal non basic variable solutions as the largest values for a minimization problem. Which value should you choose or doesn't it matter because they are equal?
+henkie8 it does not matter which one you choose, because they both contribute to the objective function equally.
Thanku

+mohamed basem what is your objective function? Max or Min?

+Buray türkmen I am not able to upload pdf here unfortunately.
will you continue to upload videos?
+Buray türkmen yes, I will.
+Buray türkmen I am working on a text book, that will be available later.
+Shokoufeh Mirzaei I am looking forward to more stuff like Senstivity, Post Optimal analysis, and Duality among other things. Please upload soon :)
wow, a lot to do.
Can u give me a solution of hitchcock problem
Please explain what should be done when m+n-1 does not equal to the no. allocated cells

Thnx shokoufeh for the reply
😊
what if i get all the NBV value are negative and zeros??? help
+azri faliq for a minimization problem, it means you have reached to an optimum solution!
If your objective function is min, then you are in the optimal table!
what should be done when a Vj or Ui is unkown??? use 0 ?
what i mean is a Degeneracy problem
