I like how the legal thinker is like 😮 throughout.
Lol @ jack blacks facial expressions throughout the whole video.
bro was left speechless
Opeth is in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. I hope you go down their rabbit hole. I'd love for you to react to their song Sorceress.
Unbelievable performance! You need to hear Harlequin Forest... their best!
Red Rocks! Near my old stomping grounds as a kid, been there many times. Too bad they did not do a daytime concert, the views are magnificent. To me, Opeth is not your typical death metal band, they use more clean vocals and symphonic and progressive elements. This band has been through multiple changes, but Mikael Åkerfeldt (founder/guitarist/vocalist/songwriter/lyricist) is still with them. There newer music has gone away from death metal to more prog rock. Love this song, very intricate, with dystopian dark lyrics. Love the line "You have to live before you die young." And quite a video production on the screen. Great reaction, well worth the wait. Stay safe, God Bless, keep rocking.
They remind me a bit of Epica.
Nice line you picked out of the song.
I use to live by those lines, way back when, due to circumstances, I always expected to die young so I went for it all the time.
And here I am still sooo many years later. 😃
To be honest, I now have to deal with the consequences of living like that on a daily basis. 🤪
Great band, their musical journey has been interesting to follow. This is a great album, I remember one time being sick for a week and just listening to it over and over.
@@frank1963 I was the same. At 30, I could not imagine living to be 50. At 50, I thought living to be 70 would never happen. Now I'm 70 and wonder why I am still here. Yeah, that line really hit me, it kind of reflected my life. Glad I am not the only one. Oh, and yes, I see echoes of Opeth in Epica. Or maybe it's just a Scandanavian thing.
@@alancarter41 yep , as I mentioned in a comment before, we are two likeminded people, if we ever meet up, we will probably get along quite well.
Btw. EPICA is Dutch, my homecountry, and although close to Scandinavia, we are totally different.
@@frank1963 Sorry, tried to generalize and that went like it usually does. But everyone knows Americans think there are only three places: America, Canada, and "over there."
HARLEQUIN FOREST!
🇫🇮❤ For years Opeth used to be the best metal band in the world for many metalheads & they are still great. This song is among their top ten ones from those glory days from when they were founded in 1990 to about 2010.
I love this reaction and I was at this show. They have a bunch to choose from. Over 30 years and 13 albums. They are much different now than they were in the early days, but they still keep getting better. Keep going on the reactions.
🔥🔥❤Opeth❤🔥🔥
****More please****
I'm subscribing for more. Here's a few suggestions from Opeth; Hessian Peel, The Moor, Godhead's Lament and Coil/Heir Apparent (they go together).
Everytime I see you suggest Opeth songs on the other reaction channels, it's mostly Watershed hahaha. Is it safe to assume it's your favorite? :)
I'll subscribe as well
@@scottspears9347 👍🏻🤘
@@anypsotis7976 Watershed, and Still Life are my definite favs, followed by Ghost Reveries, and MAYH.
Nice reactions guys...Still epic masterpiece 🇸🇪
Opeth : The grand conjuration. Epic song.
With the "Atomic Clock" Gene Hoglan on drums in the videoclip.
Yeah ... .
This song is fantastic! and it's live! Gosh!
I want some of what dude in the hat had.
Another first for me, I like it a lot. I am not a musician but they remind me a bit of Epica. The way the music is constructed. Again first time listening I didn’t get the lyrics. But I saw a great line from the song in Alan’s comment.
Also, love the PDP in the background.
TY, my fav since zep, purple n stones. as complex as Rush! luv that.
You should check out The Warning 3 sisters from Mexico that just rock. Their song Money is good and they did a remake of Enter the Sandman by Metalica with Alissia Cara
When I first heard Opeth, it took me on a journey I wasn't quite prepared for. There is a long list of songs worth checking out, they have an extensive discography and their style has evolved over the years. However, Opeth has remained progressive rock royalty for decades. I will say that my favorite Opeth song is Hessian Peel...at the moment.
how come there is no Gojira on this channel ? , check out oroborus /the heaviest matter of the universe live garrorck 2009 :)
Americans :)
Thank for the review
great band but dont follow them
They're not following you either.
