But voo, why are you including clutches where the enemy team just misplayed? that's so pointless
Look, about 95% of the clutches you're ever going to witness will either be 1 team misplaying or the other landing some insane shots. I made the executive decision that it's better to show players setting themselves up intelligently and opponents misplaying into it than showing someone doing something mediocre and then landing some insane shots. at the end of the day, it's a fucking fairy tale to imagine clutches where the opponents don't misplay. the major goal is to play intelligently and allow your opponent's misplays to give you easy wins when possible.

i mean im mg2 and i warm up in normal 128 tick servers with higher ranked players. When i start matchmaking i always regret warming up normally because mg1-mge movement is so bad that you can barely make out what the fuck the enemy is doing. And i end up losing to noobs with 500hrs because their logic and their movement is so random that you practice the game for no reason.

This vid popped back up in my recommended and I just have to reply to this. How is it illegal to get salaried to play any league in ESEA? I've been payed to play in 3 different divisions now. Not sure how any of it violated any rules.
Mauisnake Hey! Posted this a while ago so quite honestly I don’t know why I did it but here we go. Under the “Cheating” section in the ESEA guidelines it talks about permanent bans for players using another player’s account to play a match out for them. If I understood correctly, you say that you use another, personal account of yours to win Main matches for a guy who pays you. Even though you’re not using his account, you’re dancing on a fine line of impersonating another player to win matches which, in my opinion, is an easily “banable” offense. The only way around this would be if you were already on the team in main and simply use the alt account to win games for them while being on their roster (not impersonating him, just playing in the league with another name.)
@@kebinqu537 the smurf is my own ESEA account. you can have a smurf in ESEA as long as you don’t play 2 leagues at once
1:27 And that's precisely why sometimes playing against way lower ranked players might be tricky. In this instance I would also think he would've dropped to fork or maybe even backtracking to A main. Then I might get killed and ask myself "Why is he still up there!!?"
when youre used to high elo games the expected plays become unexpected

That’s why I laugh when low level players ask how to work on their gamesense. you dont, you can’t predict what they’re doing if they don’t know what they’re doing as well.
Doesn't matter the rank, you still check it. The bad things happens when u assume something, you always need to be ready for Any possibility even the "silly" ones. planting without checking a corner or running with your knife and getting killed are a few examples
yeah this is exactly why later in the video i tell the guy to just do the default smart play. when you try to outsmart people at almost any rank in MM it backfires more often than it doesn't
How to isolate duels: have the enemy team give you free kills and do basically nothing
when you do things right, it'll seem like you've done nothing at all...
@@vooCSGO Correct (btw that wasn't my whole takeaway from the video as an intermediate player). However some of the mistakes presented weren't even about doing things right. Just flagrant mistakes by the enemy team
@@_veikkomies yeah for sure. that's how a lot of clutches do play out. I'd say even up into rank 10++ a lot of clutches rely on enemy mistakes. I'd say maui's 1v3 had 1 major mistake then in the 1v2 he just played it really well. typically that's how I see things. 2 man advantage = mistake required, 1 man advantage = can just be good play that wins you the round

@@TzeiEm there are already pros for the game even tho its not out, brax an ex csgo pro is already classified as a pro in project a, people who are already widely known as high tier pros can basically chose to go pro in a game before it releases, basically stating they are going to grind the hell out of the game and want an org to pick them up
@@KittyTM Yes I'm aware of that, but I personally wouldn't count them as pros still because as of now they are not playing it professionally and/or making money with it, even though it is very likely that they will when the game launches and tournaments begin to roll

How are novas in your videos so bad but every nova I verse in my mm games are effectively s1mple. I hate calling cheats because I feel I’m better than my actual rank and I always assume they are just good players. That being said, how did it happen where half the novas are insane at this video game and the other half literally suck.

Give one of your replays a watch. You'll see yourself obviously playing wrong but then in game you feel fine.

Great video. I do want to point out something that I think can make these videos better. I think it's better if you show the clip of the player first and then comment on the eventual mistakes that the player does. It gets a bit repetitive and slightly irritating if you pause it everytime. Still, great videos as always.

You might start seeing people with a somewhat functioning brain in nova 4 and above. Even then it’s the size of a peanut.
So many games to choose from and you choose a round where you go for a knife? That's half an attempt at a clutch at that point
shooting him at that point was just a formality. clutch was already over and done with.

I like your videos... they are nice and I learn... it would be great if you gave a detailed video on the challenges of solo q.
Specifically pointing out things that can win you rounds. It's hard to keep moral up when you solo q. I find myself concentrating on rounds big time. I was 7 kills 16 deaths in a face it game.. getting called a bot and abused by both my team and the enemy team. I won three important rounds in a close mirage game. Showed up in the right places at the right time. They might have been better than me mechanics wise... but I was clearly better in other areas.
Before I would try to give randoms a chance... but I've learned that the minute someone tries to instigate negative interaction... I mute them. Solo q is tough..
I would love to hear peoples go to solo q plays ... when the chips are stacked against you.. baiting? Buying a pistol and following blue until he gets killed and drops his awp?

Silver is definitely harder with all the smurfs and stuff. As someone who got out of silver after 2 years I can tell you from my own experience that I have ranked up to gn4 in the last two months since getting out when as I mentioned earlier it took me 2 years to get out of silver.
@@MZ-gr4mn It took me from last December to now (March) to finally get to GN. I started off as a Silver 2 after being inactive for about a year. So i went from S2 to GN1 for now. Hope I don't derank lmao.

PERMISSIONZ in North America level 5 is nowhere close to global. I play at 2100 elo and LEM and can say that level 5s aren't even near LEM. Definitely closer to DMG
@PERMISSIONZ I've just gone off of what people in my discord have told me, I haven't been below faceit 9 in the last 5 years so it's just random to me. I was operating that MG2-LE~ faceit 4/5 was decidedly intermediate, faceit 6/7 and LEM/SMFC was a bit questionable and faceit 8+ was advanced
Atleast EU global is like lvl 7 Faceit but depends cuz some Globals are really bad and they are like lvl 2-4 on Faceit no joke. What I'm saying is all mm ranks are low asf. And they don't rly compare to faceit ranks well imo.

in the very last clip, i think he made a major mistake by throwing that flash, he also said himself it had no big use or something. he couldve kept on to that knowing if there will be a 1v1 situation where the CT player always has to look at CT cuz maui is there so he can throw the flash at that moment

hey VOO, watching you for a couple of months now, I'd really like to know your faceit/mm ranks as I'm unaware of you ever having played professionally. I'd like to let you know I want to get to ranks like DMG-LEM (which is not easy in my region, India) and currently I play on 50 fps lowest ever possible settings and I cannot seem to get any better mechanically and also strategically . There may be a tiny lack of practice from my side in all parts of getting better , but no matter what I try my mentality doesn't let me get even 30 kills at gold nova level :( I have 3k hours and played 2k hours 1.6 but I began to try to get better only when I had 2500 in CSGO. I go for hs they destroy me by spray, I go for spray they instantly one tap me and I get 27 in 5....other than that i think i'M PRETTY good with pistol(no deagle) and decent with awp . How can I get help :(
i haven't played seriously in a few years but i still hover around 23-2500 elo or so on faceit.
as for improving, that's a rough situation. sounds like from what you're saying your movement/positioning could use some work so you're not in that type of situation but i can't really say all that much with very little info

The feeling of climbing the ranks yourself and knowing you are becoming better and have exceeded your stagnant peak is something else. Ranks aren't meant to be flexed. It will only cause problems for yourself and your team in the long run.

@@BestKidsGamer well being a silver myself. There are a lot of smurfs, but you can deal with it. But mostly they are gold novas who got ranked down like me. The thing I hate in silvers is that, they dont communicate, it's hard to find somebody doing callouts and such. Most of the time, they just want kills which destroys the game. :'(
