- This is a video about making my plywood 7 segment digital LED clock. I've used FreeCAD to design it. I've also used FreeCAD to create the 3D printable parts and the gcode paths for my DIY CNC Machine. The source, including the design file, can be found on my GitHub page:

Lol, leuk om te zien dat ik niet de enige ben die gek is met Neopixels, arduino’s en deze toepassen in klokken 😂👍🏻👍🏻
Best part, as always is when you pickup near flawless Prints from an Anet A8 :D
Nice project.
After finishing a WordClock I tried this one.
Soldering the LEDs was easy .
I used baking paper as diffuser for the Led light .
Cool project. I like the combination of different production methods and materials. It would look nice with a really exotic wood veneer on the front panel.

Holz, CNC, 3D-Druck und Elektronik! Das ist das perfekte Cross-Over-Projekt! 🤗✅🤙🏻
Excellent project 👍
Awesome! We having fun with this!
Good work!
Hi this is so cool!!! Do you know if there’s a way to add a tiny speaker to a WLED clock like this to make an alarm? Can WLED support sound?
verry nice..... God work.....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I am trying to build your wooden clock, but I am unable to find the g-code that used for the front panel that hold the plastic led inserts, I have loaded the Free cad file supplied and it generates multiple errors.
Do you have the Gcode for the front panel, I am using a standard GRBL machine( Banggood 3018)
after a little bit of work it doesn't update the clock again. What can I do?
Great job.
hello. how many mm it takes to carve to see the light from the playwood
Nice clock, I'm thinking about Goulding it, but I want to ne able to change the color via the zeRGBa in the blynk app, can you please tell me what I have to change in the code in order to make it work.
I hope you can help me, thanks If you can.
Hello. I made the clock but after 12 pm it goes to 20:30
awesome clock, but maybe a stupid question but how does the digit works i see that they are al solded together?
they are programmable , you can tell them what colour and when to turn on/off

Looked through the Github and could not find what exact LEDs. Can you tell me? Thanks!
WS2812B, thanks for noticing. GitHub is updated.
I know this is an old upload but i do hope someone can help me with a problem i am facing. I am trying to change the timezone but no matter what i change it too it remain 1 hour ahead of UK time. I have tried changing it to -1, -8, 1, 0, 5 and it remains the same all the time. Am i doing something wrong. Thank you and great project.
A que profundidad necesito colocar los leds para que no se vean los puntos?
hello, why dots do not blink ?
Is this 12hr clock...?
Character In the video It's great, I like it a lot $$
Nice job Leon, been a big fan of your works but I would like to have the schematics pls
Thanks, it's a simple schematic and I didn't make a picture of it but described how to connect everything on the github page. Link in the description.
Nice work. What type of bit did you use for routing the segments?
4mm single flute
F****cking awesome!!! I have two questions, are you going to do a pcb for the electronics? And second, the glass on the bed of the 3d printer is a regular glass o is it something special?
Thanks. I don't know yet if I make a pcb for it. The glass is from an old scanner, nothing special.
as conseguido haqcerlo bes para k me ayudes hacerlo
VERY GOOD BROTHER...
Very good project.
I have been looking for a simple clock (7 segments) that uses wifi to be always set correctly. Thank you for doing it.
Otherwise, which Gcode generation software do you use?
Thanks. For my previous projects I've used Fusion 360 but due to a recent licence chance I switched over to FreeCAD, probably for all my future projects. Easel software (online) also works great for simple gcode. Inkscape has also a plugin for gcode which I used some years ago.

Thank you for this information.
It's mainly FreeCad that interests me, I started using it a short time ago, on an older version.
I didn't know that version 0.18 included a Gcode generator.
Thank you very much for this information. Your work is wonderful.
Wicked!

This kind of LED-Chips with integral IC will overheat very soon without cooling
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
#define BTN_PIN D8 me da error sabeis porque
Depends on your esp board. Try changing D8 to 8
синей изоленты не хватает, не понятно что сам делал👍🏻
диоды ведь сильно греются можно с деревом
Superb buddy !!!
i am really glad you used WI-Fi board this time !
btw is it possible to port your old clock with ESP8266 ?
like in your old video you had created app , instead of app is it possible to make a web-page and do things ?
