These reimagined songs genuinely just keep hittin' on a different level man... And looking at the next songs up that could use a "reimagined" version? If that Naruto live action rumor is true, Monster and Believe It are going to be NEXT LEVEL... Not to mention when the infinity castle arc for Demon Slayer is animated, my goodness... Dragon Ball, all of these songs-- Classics, and just GOATED already, I genuinely can't wait. And I hope Divide does more "reimagined" songs regardless of live action versions of things coming out, these are just insane. I cannot put into words how much better, good, and how hard this hits the soul. If he does a reimagined on his Beerus song? It's up. Reimagined Vegeta song? It's up. Nerdcore will genuinely be taking over 2024 with those reimagined variants, and I just can't wait for those.
Hey, Dave! I don’t know if it flew under your radar of if it’s on your list, but PLEASE check out Pray to the Devil by Villainous. It has Jonathan Young and GameboyJones on it, and I think it’ll blow you away.
Ok, I want to make something clear before I begin. I LOVE Divide Music, I do. He's one of my favorites, he lead me to discovering Fabvl and the rest of NerdCore. No matter what I say, my love with never change. That being said, I thought this song was ok. I listened to it 3 times, the first and 2nd time I didn't like it. I thought the production, especially on the first chorus was mediocre and lackluster. The vocals were solid and carried this song HARD. But I didn't get a cinematic feel once, like I didn't feel emotionally invested and I am REALLY good at getting emotionally invested in things (for better or for worse). I also thought that tempo change before the final chorus was out of nowhere and pointless. Like it was jarring to me and then afterward I was like "What was the point of that?" it didn't sound either. And I got good headphones and dolby atmos on. I just thought this was just not special or worth existing. I don't want to come off too rude, but I don't feel like this reimagining needed to happen. Like it didn't do enough, wasn't cinematic or emotional enough like Fabvl's reimagining of Cross of My Heart was. After my third and most recent listening, I think, and say what you will, shower me with hate, that Divide should have done another Zuko song and left "No Way Out" as it was. This, to me, is not his best work and I believe the original is better and more emotional. Again, I don't want to be rude or hateful towards him. I don't hate this song, I'm just disappointed and a little just sad. I haven't liked ANY of Divide's recent stuff other than "Left Behind" and I go in with my only expectation being to just have a good time and jam out and I haven't gotten that. And how much this was hyped up and everything and "No Way Out" being the song I relate to MOST of his, I was just left disappointed and feeling like this didn't need to exist.
Thank you for the breakdown and kind words man! It was a long process building this one 😮💨
Fun fact: there are over 5 tempo changes in the song

Dude you are so fucking good, it's actually disgusting. Love your voice!
I can’t be the only one who’d think that a song with divide, chewiecatt and goldenEMP all flexing their vocal ability would be godlike.
For someone named Divide Music he sure knows how to Unite ppl
Both you and Divine Music deserves way more subs then you both have currently. Especially divine music pulling out these absolute bangers each song.
