“No Way Out” will forever hold a special place in my heart due to it being my first Divide Music song. Both versions of this song are absolutely beautiful and amazing in their own right. I really hope that you have a moment to give them both a listen ♥

Divide is always top of his game tbf! Like, he's always constantly just getting better and better. Although my personal favourite of his is still the alucard song (castlevania or hellsing I'm not bothered which) I can't deny the technical marvel he's achieved here! And Tay lost her mind, as expected. As entertaining as ever!

While I do LOVE the reimagining, it also feels like to me, it doesn't quite hit as hard, partly in part to what you said, the instrumentals make it seem very hopeful, and, that's not what this is, this is Zuko's Lament, this is the turn of his character in stages, he hasn't been accepted yet, and there's still a chance he could backstep "I am so conflicted because its so addictive" searching for the Avatar, still looking for what he see's as "Honor" Another reactor said it felt more mature, that their singing felt more mature;
While again, I do agree with that and I do like it, I feel like the original hit more because, Zuko himself, is not mature yet, he wants to get there, hence the lament but it reminds me of that line after he burns Tophs feet.
"WHY AM I SO BAD AT BEING GOOD!" Like, he was so emotional over that one mistake but I feel like that scream was over all the mistakes he had made and to me that is what this song is, that line to me, encapsulates this song.
Trying to be good, trying to show love and respect to his uncle but still being kind a stuck in that in-between.

I don’t know if you take suggestions but if you do you should react to Fury Hearted Productions. He makes mashups of songs, like No Way Out From My Demons, and Taking Over The Days, he’ll use artist like Divide Music, Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons, and many more. I think you would like some of the mashups over there.
