I made one the other day. I use it mostly to clean underneath a heavy dresser. It was easy to make and its been working better than I had expected...thank you. :-)
Thank you for the video and tip on how to make these "swiffer" dusters. The store bought are a joke; use it on one item and I have to change it. Waste of money. I am also very jealous of your sewing machine :) Thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial. We use these like crazy. Texas is super dusty. How much do you sell them for? I didn't see the link for you're Esty shop. I want to try them out.
Unfortunately I don’t have a sewing machine at the moment and I’ve been deliberating about buying homemade ones on eBay. She wants $2.75 for one...:/ That said, I do find that the swifter disposable brand does indeed last awhile. I don’t know about you, but considering the cost, I go outside and tap that duster on something to knock the dust off and keep using it. They have lasted plenty long.
Yes they do! I actually supply these to cleaning businesses, they love them because they save money from having to buy disposable refills and they work great.

Thanks for the video. Much better than just reading a website. Just a suggestion, either use a tripod or have someone hold the camera still.
Just made 3 of these. Thank you for posting the video! Easy to make and reusable.
I'm sure it works because my fleece blanket definitely catches everyting, lol.
Cool idea, I’m all for it, but you should have given it a quick test like on top of a glass furniture.
Thanks and best regards.
These cost nearly $1 Each Now (16 for 10:49) I'm going to try your method out. Thank You.

Are these reusable? You just pop them in the washer when you are done?
I love it what kind of fabric it is? And where can I buy the plastic handle
I believe she is using blizzard fleece. And the handle is from the swifter duster that has you purchase the duster part refills
Love these
Do you use a special needle? Is the fleece fairly thin.
Do you have a link to your Etsy shop?
Help. I made one but mine is falling off the handle. What can I do?
Thank you in advance.
a button or post type thing on handle & slit in material
You just need to make the hole for the handle a bit smaller. The fleece will stretch, so it's ok to make it a bit smaller than you think you need.
How can I get these to buy from you I have a cleaning company
Can you use hot glue gun, if you don’t have a sewing machine
Please give the dimensions for the stitches. I want to do this. Thank you.
do these really hold the dust?
Yes they do! I actually supply these to cleaning businesses, they love them because they save money from having to buy disposable refills and they work great.
