This was one of my favorite videos you have done. I get into a rut, cooking the same things over and over... You inspired me to try some new foods. Thanks!
Yay! So glad you enjoyed it! I too, get in a rut so it was definitely fun to try new things!
Great video! I'd love to see a part 2 with some lesser-known countries and countries with less popular cuisine in the US!
Thanks! I would love to do another one of these and feature some lesser known countries too! 🥰
Absolutely loved this video idea!!!! Great job😍 I haven’t eaten koshari in so long, think I’m going to make it this week🥰
Thank you! Awe yay!!! This was my first time trying it and it was absolutely amazing! 😍🙌🏻
🤓Love discovering the world on your comfort level, cooking adventures and the inspirational Janie (sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly 😊)
If I have undercook rice I usually add a little more (around tablespoons worth) and keep watching it in the cooker ( I use stove top or rice the rice cooker) the result is usually scorched rice which in Vietnamese we call cơm cháy, Koreans have a likeness for this as well, just thought I would share. If I’m still unsure I can cook it covered in the microwave with added water or take out the rice and make porridge 🥣
Can’t wait for more adventurous cooking in 2024 😌
Wow, I love this video!! Please do more of these. Such a good idea to spread love and unity, especially during these times!
Thank you Crystal! I would love to do more! This world could definitely use some more love and unity! 🌎❤️
I’m. From. Eygpt. And. I’m. So. Happy. That. You. Got. Eygpt. And. You. Tried. One. Of. Our. Traditional. Food
I love Koshari ❤ we actually just had some this week😊
Great video. Everything looks so delicious.
Thank you! It truly was! Which one would you try first?
You did a perfect job, Mary!🌸🌸❤️❤️
Thank you so much! Which one would you try if you could?
The American food!
All of these look so delicious!
Thanks! They were all great!
I love it❤🎉
That Mapo Tofu looks delicious and that thumbnail is cracking me up!😄 Love it!!
Thanks! It was so good! Lol so glad you like it! 😂
My mom make really tasty koshari in Ramadan ❤
amazing video mary but you should have tried panner from India
I’m from Brazil, and honestly, this is a very good representation of our dish ( btw, people have it all the time here but it’s a version with only the black beans and brown rice). The brigadeiros are normally served on birthday parties though we don’t use colored sprinkles on them 😂. Anyways, thank you so much for including our country in your video 🇧🇷
ZDon’t think you’re so smart
You you you threw my sandwich away… My sandwich! Myyyyy sandwich! MYYYYYYYY SAAAAAAAANDWICH!!!!!!! *birds flying away*
Hahaha! Such a great episode 😂
Day 4 to make the bowl in its shape without using additional oil that some people do for the release of the food from the bowl…take plastic wrap line the bowl, pack it with the food and flip. Make sure the plastic wrap hangs over the edge of the bowl before flipping. Once flipped hold down the plastic wrap on the plate as you lift the bowl. Remove the plastic wrap and enjoy!
All these recipes look so good. Can you post the brigadeiro recipe?
They were all great! Yes! It is now posted in the description! Enjoy! 🥰
Thank you.
You have to try Suriname food its so good !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😊😊😊❤
I'm really enjoying your channel! I found you because I too am vegan, and I was trying to make sure I cooked my tofu to maximize health and taste. Once there, I realized your content was really good. I do wonder how the hell you eat all that food. Now, I've been vegan for a little over a year primarily for the animals and environment, but I also to get back to a very healthy weight. It's working, but I live alone and keep it simple sticking to primarily whole food basics. Nice channel. Not only is the content very good, but you're adorable.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! So cool that you’re vegan too. Lol, we give a lot of this food away to friends or if it’s something we can freeze/refrigerate we will eat leftovers! I hate wasting food, so we make sure it gets eaten by someone because I definitely couldn’t eat it with just me and my husband haha!

I suspected that. I'm 6'7" and got up to about 283 at my heaviest. That would be ok if I worked out all the time and I was building muscle, but at 63, I don't want or need lots of muscle. I've lost down to 237...and still think I can go another 15. If I ate half of all the delicious looking foods you prepare, I'd be 300lbs. With creativity like you have, veganism is a breeze. The beautiful animals we share this planet with are also spared from our barbaric exploitation. Please keep doing what you're doing. More healthy people like you are needed to normalize veganism. Thanks!
Wrong aipim (cassava) flour. It’s the best thing about feijoada: mixing farofa with the beans 🫘
Did you soak the beans?
It’s ok, I can’t cook rice in an instant pot either 😆
Hahaha! I finally got it on the second try 😂
On day five you forgot to say to add the red powder
Tanner's co-workers be jealous at lunch!
Lolol yessss
You guys should try polish food
That would be fun! I don’t think we’ve ever had polish food!
I come from India
🇲🇾🇲🇾
I'm from India 🇮🇳 ♥ ❤ ☺ 🎉🎉
And I know that Indian foods are very very very much nice

I’m just watching the channel for the first time as I saw you’d be featuring food from Brasil 🇧🇷 with an S, por favor 🙏🏻
Feijoada in my parents place never included the meat as we’re vegetarian but NO ONE uses faux linguiça or vegan whatever ESPECIALLY not mushrooms 🍄 as they are not part of our diet (never seen fresh ones there!). Your recipe is clearly made to appease Americans who are vegan and must substitute with fake animal products (I don’t eat animals either!). Our family recipe actually uses seaweed in it. Hopefully you will be making BRIGADEIRO!!! All you need is condensed milk, ideally Milo chocolate powder (in international aisle of Walmart), butter and whatever you’re going to roll them in. It’s eaten in every birthday party and events and when we want it for a random day we just eat it out of the pan! 12:24
