This video HITS HOMEEEEE!!! I went through the whole, “everyone wants favors now”, and it TOTALLYYY turned me off from wanting to make cartoons anymore because I didn’t wanna say no. So I sabotaged myself. I realized, the ones that don’t ask for those BS favors, and genuinely ask for advice instead, are the real deals ❤️ Screw the rest of those losers. That's what becoming famous in any form causes, I owned a restaurant a few years back and it sucked having even family members constantly asking for either money or favors and then if you refused they would call you an asshole.
Honestly, you content creators go through so much just to provide entertainment or even just to get stuff off your chests. Proud of you for speaking up about this, since I haven't seen a lot of creators speak about this subject. I wish you the best, Den

This hurts... It's awful the way people are.
I've seen you and other artists grow over the years and I've only looked up at you with a smile on my face knowing you've grown doing what you like. That only gave me that heartwarming feeling in my chest.
In retrospective, in the past I could even talk to some of you artists and you felt close and human bcz of it and bcz of how your content helped me go through life and deal with my own hardships.
I've grown too, thanks to your help, in some way.
I might not be talking to all of you the same way I could in the past, or even trying too, but I still see you as that one PERSON who helped me through those times.

people like that are all over and maaaaan, have i heard some crazy fan stories. people literally become like an excited puppy and go crazy over interacting with someone successful. i honestly find it strange that i tend to be the only one i know that doesn't get star-struck when i comes to famous people and just treat them like normal people. i thank them for the entertainment that they do and congratulate them on their hard work and success. at the end of the famous people are still just people, they just have busier lives. also...to all the greedy people out there. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO OTHERS FAME AND MONEY! IT IS NOT YOURS! EVEN BY EXTENSION!... with that out of the way, congrats on your progress and your new steps in life.

First off:Love the new style!
Secondly:Not exactly the same but i somewhat know what it feels like to live like that in a smaller scale.
Back in high school i was famous for...All the wrong reasons,I kept getting into fights and beating up people who bullied me to the point where people wanted to use me as their body guard?
None of the friends i had during those years were there for me and just wanted to use me as some short of robot bodyguard,Thanks to that i grew up paranoid of people as i thought that nobody really wanted to be around me for me.
Though i have since found some really cool friends who helped me get over a lot of emotional Babbage,Just know that there's nothing wrong with putting your foot down every now and then if someone is clearly just using you.

Secondly, I'm super happy you posted this video because I feel like this is something a lot of young and new UA-camrs can learn about ahead of time to prepare for the type of snake-ish people that will leach of you when eventually do blow up. It's a good thing to teach yourself boundaries and inforce them when people break them, even people you thought were close to you at some point.

I know how you feel about not having a mean bone in your body, Den. I grew up hating confrontation, and the lesson of "Always Be Polite And Respectful To Everyone" drilled into me at a young age. So I was always too nice and shy to ever say no. As a child, my "friends" always borrowed my stuff and kept it for weeks on end (even marking/writing on a lot of my things), and I always kept doing favors for them. They all basically ditched me after I started to grow a backbone and I couldn't be their little servant anymore. It took me a while to trust people again.
Omg, I feel you girl, I hate people like that in general because number one that is painfully annoying to deal with, and two even tho it is friends and distant family members always make them pay and even distance friends that only talk to you from past and never spoke again when you get famous. #annoying

From what I know this is quite common. Having people who thought were your friends and family just see you as a way to get treated better by others. I remember a rich guy telling his friends that he was now broke with the majority of them leaving him and not talking to him, while the few loyal ones stayed

This I can kind of relate to minus the being the famous part, due to me growing trust issues I have a hard time opening up to people nowadays, whether that's with friends, family, etc. Because I'm always worried that they'll back stab me and try to harm me but I'm starting to try to grow out of those trust issues which I hope will go well.

I love your new character design!! Its so cute! Also I'm really sorry those people can be like that, I'm not famous or anything close to it but people took advantage of who I am too it sucks a lot. But I tell myself either they will maybe become a better person, suck for life or never get an accidental extra chicken nugget in their order.
Im not famous, but My family seems to think that I'm selfish too if I don't cater 2 their every whim and just drop whatever I'm doing 4 them. Even tho I've always been there for them 99% of the time.
