I’ve had this happen a couple times a while ago. It’s just sort of luck that she is close enough and in the right spot where a tentacle won’t spawn between you and her and tentacles won’t spawn behind you. If you try the same spot another time it may not work because of her position relative to your spot. Just kind of luck
Not sure why this happens, I’ve found certain spots like this too with the way I drag the boss to one of the edges. I think it’s because it’s not giving the tentacles room to spawn, but it only happens when the boss is a certain distance away from you. I’ve yet to see a spot where she doesn’t do it at all until now, cool video!
Whisperer can't spawn tentacles out of bounds or underneath herself. Perhaps the spot you were standing on originally had 3 spots out of bounds (or out of line of sight) and the 4th spot was under her.
Hey there!! I have been trying to do it myself aswell, But it’s not working, as I say in the video, it only worked once then tentacles were spawning, that’s why I say : Luck or a glitch?. Not lying at all.

I've found spots like this very recently, musta been a weekly update that spaghetti code broke it

Have you been able to stop the tentacles consistently ?
She’s throwing tentacles the second time more than likely because you 4 tiles from your original spot.
I understand, what about the tile when she doesn’t throw the tentacles?
