Awesome. I saw JORN headling PPUSA 6. Epica and Evergrey opened up the festival. I was about 3 rd row floor ( general admission ). No one at that time knew who JORN was......he blew the audience away ad is witnessed in the Live In America DVD. Even met and shared out Beer with him the friday before he played.
This record is still on regular rotation in our camp. Absolutely unique and timeless. Sadly Randy and Mats are not around any more. But the rest of gang really should come back together and do something once again.

Randy Coven rocked the bass on every track, and made sure you can hear his great bass lines all over the record.. can't believe you did not mention him -.-
I was there... was an incredible experience. So sad the audio quality doesn't do it justice. This is a classic example of an incredibly talented band that followed their muse even if it led them into a space that could never find commercial success. Wonderful music that has enriched my life in ways they'll never know.
Feed The Fire is such a great song! Most underrated track on the album by far! But it must be like... impossible to sing the entire thing xD so high notes throughout!
i agree with you robin. ark was like a miracle in global music. (my personal opinion). the years after for jorn weren't soooo special like ark . though he is an amazing singer. i wish all these people to reunite and write down more of that stuff......

Jorn makes it sound so easy... As a trained vocalist myself, I understand how hard it is to reach those high notes while maintaining such a level of distortion in your voice. It's not really a healthy practice in terms of singing, but damn it does sound great!
This band had the potential to become one of the greatest prog metal bands ever. Too bad that they disbanded.
