Thank you so much Connor for such a fantastic job of removing the electrical string! I made an extra donation to WTW and also to CROW for the excellent work you both do to remove a very dangerous hazard in this nest!! Your fast action with the lift and with CROW was so appreciated! Thank you Joshua Tree Service for donating the lift to help out - giving them 5 stars!! You can see from the video how MUCH of that string was actually there when the lady was removing it!! Connor I love your videos so please give future rescue experience & other information!! Thank you again you all ROCK!

Great Job. I have never seen a Eagle stay is the nest as long as Clive did. Well he did stay in the nest Darning a Hurricane. He is one of a kind. Thanks to everyone. That rope was really stuck.

Gosh,I live in “Eagle Country” Skagit County Washington. That twine/wire looks like what our horses hay bails are wrapped with. I can see nests from my windows and eagles circle our fields. We will get busy and police our feeding areas..it’s not uncommon for those strings to end up on the ground..I had no idea the risk they present to our feathered neighbors..
@@misspamm1968 Thank you for recognizing the possible impact and being diligent in discarding them❤️ I must say I am a bit envious you have such a close window to these amazing birds☺️
God bless every person involved with this rescue. Camera crew to ground crew to the women in the lift and everyone in between. And especially 🙏🏼 God bless Connie, Clive, and all their eaglets; past, present, and future. Many would insist there be no interference with nature by humans in any way and to just think as though the cameras do not exist. Maybe, that’s true in some cases. I remember a few seasons back a similar instance in a northern nest where two older eaglet became tangled in fishing line. The world watched as the mother, on her own after the father went missing some weeks before, tried to free her babies. AEF eventually was able to get the eaglets free. If I recall correctly, the outcome was not favorable as hard as they tried to save the young raptors 😢 When there is severe risk to the life of a person or said wildlife, then nature has to be played out. But, here on Captiva Island was a perfect example of resources being used for the good of everyone. And Clive seemed grateful for the assistance. Raptors of all kinds are so important to the earth’s ecosystem and sustainable life. We have invaded their territories so it is up to us to keep it in good shape so as not to destroy the homes of our fellow creatures. We need them more than they need us. Bravo CROW, Connor, and CI eagles and residents. #TrusttheEagles
Great video Connor, and yes definitely interested in more "behind the scenes" videos. Wonderful work by WTW, CROW and Joshua Tree! 💖 A company installing underground wires in my neighborhood has left all kinds of trash like this in their wake - I am now officially the Crazy Old Lady going up and down the street gathering up as much as I can.

Thanks so much for making this video available! I would love to see more examples of this type of rescue/intervention. I was surprised how calm Clive was. Maybe he thought they were his relief eaglet sitters 😆
FANTABULOUS rescue work!! Thank you so very much Connor for your quick thinking about the danger and for rallying CROW and Joshua Tree to get the job done...what a GREAT TEAM!! I would be very interested in a future video about your experience with rescues!
Please share more of your experiences so that humans understand what it takes to save our ecosystem! Please share your knowledge that would be helpful for all. Grateful again for this amazing rescue due to irresponsible humans. ❤️
#1 thank every single one of you for your help and #2 thank you to Josh’s tree service for the service they provided I will totally leave a review for them #3 I absolutely believe you should create a video of what it takes to pull something like this off with all you have have to go through with coordinating from all aspects my final thoughts are it’s so humbling from the eagles to the humans involved in rescuing I’m truly grateful to all thank you I know comments don’t pay the bills so I left a donation I wish I could donate every time I watch a video
Wonderful that you stepped in before something disastrous occurred. Far too often I see on these livestreams where a statement is made that the creatures are wild and the people supplying the stream do not interfere and let nature take its course. I think it is cruel to let some nature die when a human could help. Bless you all.
Amazing work! Would love to see your more in-depth rescue experiences. That string was certainly difficult to get out and was a huge hazard. So grateful to all involved!
