This is fantastic, so helpful thank you! Our limescale was properly thick so took about 3 or 4 attempts but now it’s shiny as new! I’m all for anything natural. Thanks again 👍🏻🙏🏻😁
I was about to throw out my kettle it had so much what I thought was rust on it. I did this with half a lemon and now it’s shinning like new. Thank you!
What a great way to clean the Kettle! I had years of limescale and always assumed it would take hours and was complicated with vinegar and baking soda and what not...I decided to give your way a try and squeezed 1 lemon and brought it to a boil and boom sparkling clean Kettle! Thank you so much!
I was actually looking to buy a new kettle before trying your method. So much scale at the bottom and being a glass kettle it really looked bad. It’s my fault of course as the manufacturer says to not leave water in the kettle and I always do. Thank you for such an easy fix. It really worked great. I’ll be keeping this kettle shiny and bright from now on as I’ll clean it as needed with lemon juice 😊
What a fantastic hack, I was fed up with spending a fortune on decent limescale remover, I used to use oust but it has got stupidly expensive so I thought I would look for a natural way to clean my kettle. Thank you for sharing this, this smells such much nicer than limescale remover, it’s much cheaper and like you said no chemicals, so much safer. I love this, no more wondering if I have boiled it enough after to make it safe to drink the water. I also use vinegar to kill weeds in the garden instead of chemicals, that works amazing and is safer and cheap. l have animals so another reason I don’t like chemicals 👍🏼
In The Netherlands 250 ml of lemon juice costs 0,3 €. So 2 pounds seems expensive to be. Also: if you want to be cheap just don't throw it away but save it. Who says it can't be reused?
You only need a few shakes of lemon 🍋 juice when u are doing it monthly rather than decaling and kettle that haven’t been done before and it’s a big job
Hi there once u have done your first big limescale removal u only need a squeeze of the bottle a month so one bottle to keep your kettle limescale free and keeping on top of it monthly would last six months easy 👍🏻🌼

To clean the grooves on the kettle and base, I use a Q-tip soaked with vinegar or lemon juice and a tooth pick afterwards. Thanks for the upload.
I decided to try this and I must say it’s BRILLIANT! Just as new. Thank you!

Great tip.
nice work... can also use malt distilled vineger as well 👌
I have a similar kettle to yours and there is a filter at the top that stops the limescale coming out, how do you clean it?
Wow ive tried so many methods that others have posted on utube but didnt really work. But thank u soooo much this worked! My kettle is similar too 👍😁
Please unplug before you go anywhere near the base especially with anything wet.
One try and perfect

But how much is it costing you for unnecessary biscuits, chocolates, crips etc a year?
why does the last word in each sentence, take longer to say ?
why do you bend over with your ass in the air every second word you write?
DIDN'T WORK
