Ropes are not a good choice take it from a breeder . There alot of dogs that have had to have balls of string taken out of the tummies because they cause blockages and they have to be surgical removed
Puppies don’t know their own strength. I have been hurt by a puppy not trying to hurt so erring on the side of caution is how I choose to work with them. I teach them a gentle command early. I am not saying it would be done purposely. There isn’t a mean bone in any pyr. that I have ever met. They are huge teddy bears and completely wonderful.
Puppy is cute af but STOP watching her maul your cat, you need to remove her or the cat from the area. That behavior won't stop with "No", she needs trained.
They are playing. She's not biting her. Infact, the cat wants that, otherwise she would just quickly go to on something the dog can't reach. Trust me, they're playing.

As a person who has raised Pyrenees for over 20 years I am appalled that they let her hurt the cat. Shame on you for not protecting your cat.
