In my playthrough the Mexico content ended on the most exciting cliffhanger I have seen in recent times. The problems of the Country became to much and it had to turn to thr only saviour left...Germany.

It's a relatively famous quote by Porfirio Diaz but the full one is 'Poor mexico, so far from god, so close to the United States!' I'm guessing there's going to be much more US involvement in Mexico.
