I made this baked spaghetti tonight and I got my husband's favorite line when I make something bomb! "Babe I've already married you I can't marry again what are you trying do?" "This is really really good" So thanks Mr.Make It Happen! I'm still that girl in my kitchen 🤪
I made this last night for dinner, let’s just say the table was quiet, and all you heard was jaws smacking!!!!!! Our family loved this dish, thank you Mr Make It Happen 😊
I'm a little late, but I made this recipe about a month ago and I have to say, it's one of the best dishes I've ever had! It was so good, my friends daughter had it for 3 nights straight. Everyone loved it!
I love that he seasons the meat directly. Seasoning at the end is cool, but it makes a difference to the taste of the dish to season the meat in the beginning. Awesome recipe!
For sure it does. I should make up some batches of that all seasoning blend he has. It's definitely a time saver. My darn garlic and onion powder is always clumping up hard as a rock in no time, and this would actually prevent that. Such a pain to unclump when you're in the thick of things.
I made this and the boursin made ALL the difference ... the only thing I did different was I used red bell (green upsets my stomach) added anaheim, portobello, poblano and red onion, made one 9x13 and one 9 x 15 and there were no leftovers at the end of my event.... and people raved about it..... oh and I omitted the Italian seasoning..... but it was sooooo good.......... thank you!
This recipe was AMAZING! It was so cheesy, creamy and flavorful. I would've never thought to use sour cream or Boursin cheese. Thank you for turning me on to something new. I even added a little pecorino cheese. Came out perfect!
Spaghetti is my absolute favorite meal in the whole world. My grandma and I made a spaghetti pie years ago and she used cottage cheese. It was delicious! Your recipe looks delicious and I can’t wait to try it. Thanks for sharing it.
I made this tonight for my kids and my daughter closed her eyes and said "soo good"! Had to sub cream cheese with various herbs for the boursin and Ragu ;) for the homemade sauce, but it was a HIT! Mr. Make It Happen does it again! Thank you!
Just made this for my family & I, using two pounds of ground Turkey instead of the ground beef and Italian sausage. Everyone loved it, including my toddler. Thank you 😋 I’m subscribing!
I'm vegan, but I come to your page for inspiration. I usually veganize your recipes. I made this for the fam using vegan: Boursin cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, Impossible meat and Italian style vegan sausage. Let me tell you....it was HEAT!! All the non vegans in my household loved it. The addition of Boursin and sour cream took it to the next level! I literally had no leftovers. It's going in the rotation for sure! Thank you soo much! Keep doing what you're doing!!

I made this recipe yesterday and it is AWESOME. I followed the recipe pretty much to the letter; I did need to double the sour cream to get the Boursin to a workable consistency, but I can see why you settled on the Boursin because the flavor is excellent. I would never have thought of using cheddar cheese with a tomato-based sauce, but it gave the dish a rich and complex flavor (along with the red wine). This is a definite keeper. I grew up eating spaghetti casserole. My mom always cooked her spaghetti sauce from scratch. Always cooked it all day long. And usually made the casserole the next day with the leftovers. Though on rare occasion she just started out with the casserole. This makes me want spaghetti casserole so bad. Lol
Made this tonight and the meat sauce is A1! 🙌🏽. Now, I actually like ricotta and hate sour cream… I decided to try the cream sauce even tho it had sour cream 🤮. Honestly speaking, I can do without the sour cream it’s too “tangy” for me. He's right about ricotta having little flavour. It's the most expensive option for lazagna and casseroles, w/ the least taste pay off. Though it's delicate taste can be perfect for some dishes, esp. desserts. He's wrong about the cottage cheese though, lol. Best option for lazagna. The most taste, the added texture. Sour cream is a great option and more likely to have on hand for many.
Ricotta, for lasagna, IS DRESSED with chopped FRESH parsley and *at least* one egg is added to that, to loosen the fabulous ricotta. Add your favorite grated cheese and salt/pepper/garlic powder. Begin with small increments when adding-in these ingredients. Do not skimp on the parsley, if you enjoy parsley. Curly is more attractive than flat for this use.

I made this recipe late last night...didn't finish until after 2:09 am because I started cooking it so late, but it was well worth the cook time because it came out amazing, flavorful, and delicious. I used gouda cheese, mozzarella cheese, and shaved Italian blend cheese (with Parmesan, romano, and asiago cheese)...I used a litte bit of each cheese. It was sooo good. My left over dinner is going to be so good. :)
Made this a couple times in the past, and baabbaayyyy it was incredible!!! Made it again today for family and I didn't feel like doing everything. Used Ragu (sugar free) and added brown sugar to it. Then I used alfredo sauce and put the noodles in it. Then I got the meat sauce and mixed that with those alfredo noodles. Didn't do the boursin trick for the middle... just used cheddar and mozzarella cheeses in the middle. It STILL came out bussin!!!!!! Thank u sir for this incredible recipe!!!
Of course we've enjoyed Spaghetti 4ever. & many folks have it in our Dinner menu rotation. !BUT! Tell me why I cannot stop moaning "this is sooo good" after every other bite of YOUR recipe? ...I love baked spaghetti... my Grandmother made this when I was growing up, and I'm in my 60's now. She taught me how to make it. No green peppers, lol. She used sweet red peppers in her sauce . She used ricotta mixed with a bit of Mozzarella, and layered it all in a deep baking dish, fresh Mozzarella on each layer, and fresh shredded Parm. Delicioso!
Hubby doesn't really like spaghetti cause he's said he's had it too much throughout childhood and there's nothing really special about it.... well he had this and said it's the best spaghetti he's ever had. He really liked it. I did too lol
Have never seen spaghetti made like this. However, I will be trying this delicious recipe once I complete my diet that I’m currently on for a surgical procedure! I, most definitely am gonna be eating baked spaghetti real soon! Thank you my friend.
Making this AGAIN tonight!!! I swear by this recipe! OMGOODNESS! Thank you so much... My 6th time making it in 2 months. Everyone RAVES about it! I used chopped tomatoes once but, I really like the consistency of the crushed better!!! Another week of feeding co-workers and myself at work!!! ;) Btw... WE ALL love your mac and cheese as well!!! Love your Uncle's recipes too... 😍👩🍳👍👍👍
I made this today for lunch today. Was a hit with my family. I like Ricotta cheese so I used that . Did not have garlic paste so I used minced garlic instead.👏❤
The first recipe I ever made was Meatloaf. I was either 10 or 11 years old, and so proud. That was 50 years ago now and have been cooking ever since. This is a great recipe. 😊
You can avoid the sugar with .teaspoon baking soda for every 2-3 cups of tomato substance. It neutralizes the acidity. It will bubble. Keep stirring until the bubbles stop
I made this as a baked spaghetti....it was fantastic...the tomato paste set the bar higher...also I used ground turkey and mild Italian sausage....great recipe....thank you
My first recipe was baked spaghetti and meatballs because I was a waitress at Pizza Hut. I was 19 years old and no one in my family knows how to make baked spaghetti but my meatballs are as large as a tennis ball. Smile.
Added baby bella sliced thin, red, yellow orange baby bells, my own spaghetti sauce, marsala cooking wine, and followed your recipe to finish. Thanks you for your delicious recipes.
Growing up my momma made baked " skeddy" . The middle layer of white creamy goodness, is king!! My momma would add whole black olives to hers. Looks killer!!!
I was always taught to add one heaping tablespoon of baking soda which starts immediately eating the acid out of the tomatoes. You can see it working when you mix it into the tomatoes.

Hubby doesn't really like spaghetti cause he's said he's had it too much throughout childhood and there's nothing really special about it.... well he had this and said it's the best spaghetti he's ever had. He really liked it. I did too lol

Wow, thanks for that
Thanks be careful for those on low sodium diet

I hate baked spaghetti but I tried this recipe. Will not go back the regular way again❤
My first recipe I learned to cook was homemade sauce and homemade meatballs. It was considered a rite of passage.
I was always taught to add one heaping tablespoon of baking soda which starts immediately eating the acid out of the tomatoes. You can see it working when you mix it into the tomatoes.
"Who the hell eats cottage cheese?"
I'm ROLLIN' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol!!
