- This is a live record of a concert of Padmashri A. Hariharan (best known as a singer of "Colonial Cousins") in Sai Kulwant Hall in Puttaparthi on 24th of July 2004. He's perfoming his renowned song "Krishna Nee Begane" in the presence of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

He materialized a necklace for the tabla player..he's a very young and genial guy. And he gave his blessings for Hariharan and the whole group.
You can be as negative as you want. The truth is that this man lived every single moment of his life in a way that will be realized in the years to come.
The truth is he has/had a trust worth almost a billion dollars. Why so much money? Because he never used it for himself.
The truth is that there always will be skeptics. There have been people who hate Sai Baba, people who have called him a fake, or a pedophile. You will all regret your negativity. In due time. Love all serve all.
I was blessed to witness this performance live at the world youth conference 2007, as the tabala player was performing his solo Baba materialized a chain for him.
@yourdeadmother. I'm 36. I was brought to SSB in 1977 when I had a tumor in my groin. He healed me. My parents were not believers back then. Growing up I was the biggest skeptic. I thought how could this guy be god? He was alive and against everything I know about 'god'. In 2001 after 9/11 I had some very rough days. I was a rescue worker on the WTC site. I was in a downward spiral and went to Sai Baba. In short, he saved my life. He even cared for an A-hole like me. That's huge.

Even Brahma couldn't comprehend the reality of Krishna and called Him 'Mayavadis' or magician. When Avatar performs Leela,only person with purity and inner vision could see His beautiful play. When Krishna was on earth, how many recognized Him? All called him magician too. It's sin to criticize or talk bad about others. If we don't accept, we leave, but its not proper to engage in criticism and stain our own Self because the entire world is our own reflection. If we could see bad outside, then we have bad within that's reflected outside. Whether He is Krishna or not Krishna, All Is Krishna! Him only exist, then where is the duality?

Many people say many things about Swami .. I mean good and Bad.. Those who speak bad.. I dunno why..but when you have a direct experience of life saving miracles, from accidents, from bad situations in life and from the politics at work.. one can only say these experiences are out of this world, they break every rule in the book and so I dare say unto you he is the son of divinity. Even before his Samadhi, I came across a little book that had all the messages meant for me and my concerns. How can that be. Even right before his departure his Love for me reached me and saved me. That's how great he is. Do you know anyone else who can do that? If you do better stick with him or her. Its really not the miracles that moved me, its the love for me that moved me. I have never met Swami in person yet he appears in my house making a cup of hot chocolate.. I cannot explain it but I can tell you I love him alot for all he has done for me. Even after his passing he responds with the same intensity and timeliness. Love you Baba!!!
Nope.. truly believe that it's divinity itself... but, I am still stuck in the body - mind space and couldn't move beyond to experience the oneness/goodness that he's been teaching the humankind for years through his delivered discourses.
Gifted voice - very much suited to this Divine song. Wish could have sung without mixing other language.and western music into it...

the lyrics the traditional by saint purandara dasa , very common in carnatic style as tukda . hariharan with a background of hindustani background has done full justice to raag yaman kalyan. even the english interlude jelled well with indian beat of tabla

Beautiful, beautiful, rendering. The full majesty of Raag Yaman--or Yaman Kalyan as Parameshwar points out, is more expressly there, particularly at the beginning. There is more 'bistaar' of the raga, than there is in Chitra's equally fabulous performance. I too find the English fusion part, a little jarring with the classical majesty of the original song.

for all the people who wrote bad things....how many of you built hospitals which give free surgery facilities to poor.....how many of you gave drinking water to 1000 villages around anantahapur and also in srikakulam....how many of you inspired soo many people NOT INDIANS to turn their lives towards service.......

There are many like Hariharan whose talents take a deviant course away from the originally intended one. It all depends on one's value system, trading off bet. fame, money, pure service what is in good taste. I love classical Indian music,both Carnatic and Hindustani. Of course, to recommend that form for all Tom Dick and Harry, would be absurd.
Marjorie Bakre missed some thing.... not everyone saw Jesus resurrection... not everyone has that fortune... same with sai baba..... just look for the updates of the paediatric hospitals being built for the welfare of the human
Only Hinduism, budhism, jainism will allow such wonderful song to be played in their places of worship... other religions will mostly not tolerate these thoughts...

It is the mayavadis who says I am Krishna. Krsna recides in all animals, but we have to cultivate through Bhakti and authentic Bhagvad Gita and find who Krishna is.

Saibaba is a respected holy man and spiritual influence on many people.
He died in April 2011 from complications following a respiratory illness and is missed by his followers.
Saibab's followers are awaiting his return by resurrection from the dead.
Jesus was severely tortured but gave up his spirit on the cross when he took on all our sins which finally killed him. He chose to die.
And then Jesus rose from the dead 3 days later because he overcame all sin. That's a slight difference.

@prasanyadav @visveshbabu- To all the dear sons of Lord Krishna, remember Krishna says belief shouldn't come with slangs, bhakti is something that is the word of soul. If a guru says that I am Krishna, it cannot be true. Krishna can be found by his most earned disciples, everybody can't be Krishna. Surrender to Krishna, you can find the true person who Krishna was?

@safserwr the story of Hinduism is the story of Krishna, Rama who worked miracles. the same goes for our saints be it meera bai or the contemporary Ramakrishna Paramhansa. To name a few...so what makes youthink miracles malign Hinduism? On judging swami's materialisations , pls don't be an armchair commentator. My family has been to swami for 24 yrs now & I hv known so many mracles in my own family which I cannot fit in here. All I can say is Thank you swami- we are, because YOU are !
go to a sai center near you and see what the followers do to the community.....then talk....

Bhakti is not done becoz some ppl appreciate it or some stupid predictions by some group, it is done becoz Krishna is existing always. So the authority gives the lessons of Bhakti through a Guru from disciplic succession. It cannot come from any non-authorized source. Hare Krishna!

I feel the fusion in English spoils the beautiful rendering of 'Krishna nee begane'. We all know Hariharan's talent to sing in multi languages. This fusion is unnecessary, unwanted and un-called for.
Anything uttered in the presence of Swami is nectar.....

@sandhyasai100 - Satya Sayi Baba is not God, he is the son of God, one who says I am God can't be a God, only Krishna had that power to say he is the one. Even Gouranga (Chaitanya Dev) never said he is Krishna, but he is widely believed by his earned followers that he is the reincarnation of KRishna in the mood of Radha Rani. Just read Bhagvad Gita As It Is by Bhaktivedanta Trust (ISKCON) to get the true Krishna!
If u dnt believe him.. Jus keep quite n go away .. Y a u all abusin him.. He helped many poor people by givin food,shelter,free aducation, free medical services etc.. Long ago there ananthapur people suffered bcoz of water scarcity.. Only bxoz of swamy they dnt have dat problem again.. N he developed dat city..
Swami saved my life in a car accident and has helped me in many ways includes after He left body. For me He is one human form of Divine and He never leave. : )
