Hello all! We just want to reiterate, this was filmed before social distancing measures and well before the "lockdown" here in the UK. We are so grateful and honoured to have this platform to inspire viewers to get out and explore and discover HOWEVER during this challenging time, we ask you to follow your government's advice on social distancing, self-isolation and be sure to abide by any other lockdown measures in your country/state. We will beat this friends! It is corny, we know, but we are all in this together. Stay safe, Gail and Alex xx
Yes, praying that this will be over soon! I work in the Emergency Room in my town here in Port St Lucie, Florida. I still go to work every week. Stay safe my dear friends!♥️🌺
Could you tell me about the camera and microphone set up kit was using at 2:22? What want to go looking for arrow heads on the river banks with my niece and my camera phone is not going to take do quality pictures. Thank you ladies.
Gail and Alex, thank you for the lovely videos. Alex I love all the history you show. Gail your jewelry is beautiful. I hope to own a piece someday. From Camano Island WA USA. God bless and Love is the key!
Love to see you ladies! You’re both so sweet. Show us some of your crafting during this time until you get out again...so great to watch!! Stay safe and healthy!!
One positive that came from the lockdown was bringing families together. My daughter and I hiked about five times a week, raised two baby squirrels that fell from the oak tree in our yard and we gardened together. I do miss all the time we had to spend outdoors. It made our bond stronger. It warms my heart to see you two explore and enjoy each other’s company too. 🙂
Beautiful! Watching the day back was a little emotional, haha! It feels so long ago now, due to current circumstances! Oscar's face when he watched you say hello to him was priceless!! A very chuffed little boy indeed! His reactions to your gifts will be in our next film, spoiler alert- he was very happy!!! Thank you so much for your continued support, It really means the world to us! Its amazing that, through what started as something to pass the time in Oscar's school holiday, we have met such lovely and genuine people that get equally as excited about the little things as we do... This trip was truly something special and to remember and we can't wait to see the other films! P.s Your garden looks stunning, and looks like a lovely place to be in lockdown ;) Love Kate, Fleur and Oscar!!! xxx
My grandfather was a rock hound and a jewler. Watching you make these rings reminds me of all the many hours sat in his shop as a child watching him make jewlery. Thank you for bringing back the memories.
I do too like watching Gail’s jewelry making and then checking it out on Etsy. You do definitely appreciate it something more when you see something artfully made from start to finish. It’s good too that you mentioned your videos were done before the lock down. We are all in this together, luv this collab video and now I am going to check their video. Stay safe!
So grateful to have vicarious adventures right now! No sea glass hunting for me either. I’ve got asthma and two small kiddos so we are hunkered down. Thank you for this!!!!
i was lying face down on a beach off of lake michigan to see up close how far down in the sand and rocks the beach glass was situated and this guy walks by with his family and asked me if i needed an ambulance or something.
Gail has some awesome old tools for silver smithing. Could you please add to a video showing the old tools and describing where they came from. Another awesome video and I love the foil back trick!
Gosh, I wish I lived in a quiet surrounding as you do! Mountains at the back, all that nature, fresh air! Go have fun and stay healthy. These are weird times.
As you put it, "We're also on lockdown." I've been doing art projects and other busy work just to keep occupied. I throughly enjoyed your program and all the beautiful glass. Once again watching the process of Momma making the beautiful necklace is amazing to me. I must say I got tickled when you sped up the part of hammering and how fast it was going. Stay Blessed and Well from Jacksonville, Florida, USA
Thank you two for giving us a little Escape and knees typical lockdown days that we have. Hope all is well at your end of the world. Look forward to another wonderful video of yours.
What an absolutely gorgeous beach! Thank you for taking us to this beautiful place. The pendant is so lovely. Take care Alex and Gail, see you on the next video.
All the pieces are lovely but I love the dark blue as it’s like a hidden treasure when you hold it up to the sun. Can’t wait to see what you create with these pieces.
I just realized I could set youtube speed to .25 and actually take in the wonderful scenery during the opening drive. I'm off to rewatch all the others. Thank you for these enjoyable moments. :-) :-)
Thank you for your latest video ladies! Your followers will watch you - whatever you do! You are our (virtual) friends. The constant happiness radiated from Alex is very cheering in these difficult times! - I always wonder what you are like Alex, when you've had a couple of drinks? That must be so funny! You need to make a video at home "Alex gets drunk!" :) ha ha! Always love to see people making things - as I love making things myself. Stay safe ladies!
Hi what a beautiful gems you have there. Gods creation is so awesome we can't never see all hi has there for us but we can cherish what we can see all around us, nice jewelry you made there, well your mom I think, Thank you for sharing and stay safe too
I simply love your videos and the music you use though out. If you are looking for content during this time, you could do another video at that bottle dump behind your house. You could also do a video where you both are making jewellery and while you are doing that you could a Q&A. The things you guys do, there aren't very many people, so you should be ok. Even another video treasure hunting on the field of dreams....? That necklace is beautiful. Will you be making more and selling them on you Etsy shops? You could do a video on casting your porcelain doll's leg that you found in one of your previous videos. From start to finish. 😋🤗
Hi, I felt so moved to see the sea that I cried. I was so ill last year that I hardly got to the beach at all & I absolutely love to swim in the sea. It totally changes me as a person. Transforms me. I had not been to the sea much for the two years previously as I was deathly ill with cancer. Only just survived. I am saving up & the moment the restrictions are sufficiently lifted I am getting in a taxi. Hoping for a good warm October. Thankyou for sharing your visit.
Not only sea glass hunting with kindred spirits, but Alex and Kate look nearly like sisters. Looking forward to part two and hopefully you teaming up together for a hunt together in the summer weather, that's got even more than two parts.
Nice to see you all together. Good match up. Two great Mum and daughter teams. Plenty of smiles. Been a good day even if you had come up empty handed. Watching you ladies with that coloured sea glass reminder me of my sapphire mining trip to Rubyvale and Sapphire . Holding you finds up to see the colour and the cross table.
Awwwww what a Beautiful way to spend the day many Blessings to you and your Mum Excellent video 🧜♀️🧜♂️👏👏👏👏🖐😊👍🏻❤ kit and caboodles was fun to see people happy and having a fun time!!!! So rare these days.....😊
Wonderful Sunday watching! I know the colorful glass is exciting but I find those black ones my faves. Although really, I’d be so excited to find even one piece of anything. All those lovely rocks are appealing too. Thanks for posting. Stay safe. Be well. ❤️ PS I want that pendant.
They're all so beautiful in there own special way, I don't know how you guys ever sell them. Beach Jewels, I have made pieces of jewelry to sell then end up keeping the piece. All those stones are all so round look so nice just lay down in the summer when the weather is hot let the water come upon you just a little to cool off. Awww they looked like little jelly beans also colored easter eggs. Beautiful piece Gail.
I collect lake glass because I live close to Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair. Never have I ever seen multi coloured glass! You are so lucky! I have to admit that I am with Alex, I too love the bubbles! I also wish I was as close to my mother as you are. You ladies are wonderful! You guys are really making this quarantine so much easier. Thank you!🌺

Fab vid, a much needed tonic. The different colours in the seaglass was amazing. 2 see mixes in colour in 1 piece, it makes such awesome jewellery. The pendant was lovely. All your pieces I've seen so far have been beautiful.
I enjoyed that immensely. I've just finished watching Fleur and Kate's take on your day together over at Kit and Caboodlers. Together with them you are my favourite mudlarking channels. It must have been wonderful to meet them. The warmth and rapport between you all was genuine, touching and heartwarming. I'm stuck on a ship in the Gulf of Mexico and can't get back to my family - who are safe in the UK - so your videos have become more important than ever. That said, this one was especially eagerly anticipated and worth waiting for. Thank you.
I would absolutely love to visit England and Seaham Beach and look for sea glass with you and your mum!! Your next business adventure could be to host tours for sea glass collectors like me from the USA! My beach in Delaware is my favorite place to visit daily (weather permitting)! I also love your mum’s jewelry!! You two are my favorites!!
I love all of the beautiful sea glass. I love the bubbles too, Alex. I'm subscribed to Kit & Caboodlers and I love their channel. Sea glass is so exciting to find especially the Orange one, wow! Gayle is so talented in making jewelry and you with the filming. Take care and stay well 🙏 for all.
