I broke my sacrum in 5 pieces and both legs. I couldn’t walk and still can’t feel a good part of my right leg. I now ride horses at the highest competitive level, but I was lucky. I put a lot of effort during many years to recover but much in our every individual case is luck. Some people are completely and permanently paralyzed by a difference of 1 inch or 2 in how they hit and no amount of person effort will ever make them ski or walk or anything. So I wouldn’t do a title like “From paralyzed to Grand Prix Dressage in N years” because I’d feel I could offend those less lucky. But that’s just me.
I admire your determination and seeing your recovery makes me very happy.

This is so inspiring I have a C4 incomplete spinal cord injury four and a half years out from injury. I was told I would only have one percent chance to ever walking again, but just a few months ago I started being able to walk with supported assistance. My biggest advice would be never give up believe in yourself and most importantly have faith in the man above ❤️ when you have faith, anything is possible

Recovering from broken spine, 5 months in. The mental side of it is absolutely everything. If I could physically will it away it would be easy no matter what I had to do. Its accepting the limitations I have right now and knowing I will get better that is the hard part. Staying positive every day is a massive task in itself. Just gotta keep my head up and do what I have to do. This doesn't have to be a bad thing. It can be an opportunity that a lot of positivity can come from, I just need to perceive it the right way. Thanks for the vid.

Mindset makes all the difference. They will likely have damage to their nervous system which doctors will say isn’t reversible. They are only half right. The body can learn to communicate with the fried nerves, take away their control, rebuild new paths and then forget the damaged ones!

I am now 5 weeks out of the hospital and continuing treatment at home. It’s been hard and I don’t know when I’ll be able to golf again, I’m scared of the thought of not being able to golf ever again. I broke my ankle snowboarding and was back out in 4 weeks, tentatively but did it.
I would visualize the bones knitting back together, meditate on the actual site of injury, etc...

Why the hell would you risk everything skiing again? I mean does he wanna die for sure? Well, dying is not that frightening. Did he try to get paralyzed absolutely? Does the life teach those ppl something? If you want to just keep the ability to move and walk you should stop doing dangerious sports, isn`t that obvious? If you even did this to start with
