Thank you for the putting this UA-cam channel for us ladies, or anyone .. But you definitely inspired me. Great content. Stay safe and enjoy the road!!
I just found you today. I'm so impressed. What I've learned from experience (47 years otr) is if you're not sure. Park in the street with flashers on and walk into the receiver and ask where they want you. Then there will be no surprises. If someone has already told you this, sorry but like I said I just found you today 02/27/2022. And I'm a subscriber now. Best wishes.
I enjoy your videos because you are truly authentic. Tell it like it is. Enjoy this trucking life. Keep doing what your doing. Have a great, safe and productive week
Great job young lady. When I was with CFI it was Discount Tire that was a pain to get into the lot, for sometimes 12 tires. Sometimes 20 drops in 2 days. Keep up the great content.
Great job Trucker Gal. What helps me with stubborn trailer tandems, is "PB Blaster" is a penetrating oil. Especially with the Winter weather. Just spray the oil on the pins and the tandems through the holes on both sides of the trailer and rock it back and forth a little bit and it will help you slide the tandems much more easier. Give a try.👍👍👌Keep up the good work and the videos. Your amazing!!
Just recently joined your channel. I'm a Truck Driver/Trailer Puller too. Always looking for other perspectives. Cuz, it's real easy to get caught up in your own little world. Especially in this business. I've been considering showing my perspective for quite some time, but am hesitant, because I like my privacy. But, I also like helping people. And, if I can accomplish that by giving people a peek into my day to day, then maybe it's worth it. 🤷♂️ Anyway, I like your content. Keep up the good work. 👍
Nice video good advice you give. What about the joke in the end of the video I was waiting for a good one like before? Thank you for sharing your day with us. God Bless you.
At 5:35 if you would have followed your gps's advice you wouldn't have had to deal with the yellow poles. The far lane had plenty of room to swing into the alley. You'll know next time. You're doing a very good job driver, very professional, keep at it. The industry needs more like you.
I usually google maps satellite look at the location entrance & see how difficult it is. You can’t always get a good look but it’s always best to open the map and see the delivery or pick up location. Keep it up. Live and learn.
I actually use a bungie cord for those trailers. You wrap it around the lever and hook both ends to the trailer. Once you it that sweet spot it should force the lever up
I was spoiled when I used to haul freight. The company had the best equipment money could buy. All are trailers just had a button to push to release the axle.
Love watching your videos as you take us along with you. I enjoy watching you because you are a hard worker and you take pride in yourself and don't let others bother you when they don't help you. I love your outlook. Keep up the great work. Thank you and I appreciate all you do! 👍

👍👍 for another great video. Would love to see you do some on how you manage your HOS and trip planning. Oh, and good job on the tight maneuver at Tractor Supply.
Great video again! When you turned into that place I thought.."hmmmm"...I've been there too. They know trucks will be bringing things but design the place as if it coming in a Volkswagen. You're right, places like that will make a better driver and teach you to have patience. I always said drivers with no patience dnt last long. You did good!! With your attitude, professionalism and skill I wldnt call you a rookie Sheila. Loved the cotton eyed Joe too! 😁 Carry on Miss Amazing!!
Whoever had my truck before me put some of those gladhand handle extensions. I love them. Sure makes connecting the hoses way easier. No more beating on them to lineup better. Later Tank
Glad hand extensions might be good for you. There not that long but give an improved leverage and if you skip the plastic part (dangerous edges if they break) the brass extensions won't attract attention

One thing I was never able to do is back a trailer up. Thats why I never thought about driving a semi. I think its a depth perception issue and a bit of stupid but over the course of forty years driving I think I have backed into 11 things. Never anyone elses property though. Mostly my house. Side of the garage. Multiple fences. Couple a sheds and one motorcycle. All with a small trailer carrying riding mower or something I bought like fridge or wash machine.

Delivered to 3 Tractor Supply stores in one day. GPS sent me through a hotel parking lot to get back on the road. I turned around in a little strip mall instead. I had plenty of room to turn around, just not enough over the top. The liquor store internet wires took a ride up the street...lol. A lady and her husband sat there and watched. She came down to the store telling me she got my truck number and license tag. I was like ...okay that's fine. She said they calling the cops. I told her to have them come to the store, I'll be right here. She wanted my personal information...I was like Hell No!!! I'll give it to the cops when they get here. Yes people wanna see you hit something. That day test my patience and help my skills backing. The other two stops were very tricky. I'm going to subscribe. I like your content.

I might add that kicking or thumping a tire will not tell you the current PSI that is in it. You will not know if a tire is 20-30% to low or to high. It will tell you quick if it’s flat or close to flat. Use a accurate tire gage and look at the sidewall to see what max cold pressure is. I keep mine at about 10% under the max cold pressure. Tires will heat up a little and pressure in them will rise slightly as you drive. Also, if you do add or take out a little air put the valve cap back on the valve stem. There is a reason for a valve cap, it keeps water and crud from getting in there and damaging the valve core. Carry a few extra valve cores and the little tool for tightening and replacing them. Ok, tire rant over

Please keep your fifth wheel greased for a dry one can put you in a jack knife Plus I keep the jaws sprayed with WD40 from time to time to keep water, and ice off of them
Never rely on the tug test always look with your flash light to make sure you are locked only takes 10seconds always have antigel ready in case your going into a area that it's going to get 🥶 cold ,,by the way if you spit on the rubber glad hands they go on easier 😀 from a old driver 😀 try 90 %alcohol if you can find it in with washer fluid to help keep it from freezing, I always put alittle ammonia year round to help keep road grime off my windshield plus helps with bugs in summer 😀
