There's no such thing as evil. That's a construct of the moralists. As a concept, the whole good vs evil thing was part of the core beliefs of Zoroastrianism. It influenced the major religions of the west because of osmosis. It was near them, so they naturally took it up over time. So the concept is prevalent in the west... but wholly foreign to shamanistic religions like Tengriism and Shinto. There's taboo, but not an absolute adversarial evil. That concept did reach China via the vehicle of Manicheism, but never became popular there. Even in Buddhism the concept is nebulous and vague at best. Mara is variously described as the personification of people's suffering through desires, or a demon, or a stumbling block necessary to the process of becoming enlightened. Conceptually, Mara is similar to the variety of concepts in Judaism that are collectively referred to as Satan. I've asked 8 Jews about the nature of Satan and gotten 8 answers that were all radically different. This seems to be the case in older non-Persian religions. Christianity and Islam seem to have adversarial absolute evil concepts much closer to the Zoroastrians. Other influences are Confucianism, Taoism (and Chinese Astrology by extension), Shugendo, Humanism, and to a lesser extent Christianity and Sectarian Shinto and New Religions (I'm familiar with one sect in particular called Konkokyo, but generally they are henotheistic instead of polytheistic or animistic like mainstream Shinto). Most of the religions in Japan have no concept of evil. Tsumi is a taboo concept rather than a sin concept. There's Amatsumi and (I'm guessing the pronunciation on the second one) Tsuchitsumi. Literally Heavenly and Earthly taboos. Now, every shrine network has its own specific definitions and teachings. There are even Kami of war and weapons are used in rituals. Buddhists typically do forbid killing humans, but some sects say it doesn't matter as long as you change. Case in point, Dazu Huike was a boastful and proud warrior before becoming the 29th Buddha after his master Bodhidharma (who founded the Zen sect). He killed a lot of people, and before meeting Bodhidharma, was rather proud of that fact. This was probably why Zen caught on with the Warrior classes when it was introduced to Japan by Dogen. So, what have we learned so far? In a nutshell: morals are relative to one's culture, Rimuru is Japanese, most Japanese don't have a concept of adversarial evil, and (I hope you inferred that...) it is folly to expect those not of your culture to follow your culture's morality.

I absolutely loved the part where he appeared to go berserk... only for it to be a decoy that he specifically created to do just that.
Ngl am I the only one who was rooting for Geld, he is one badass Orc.
People forget being nice is purely a choice, and often times the nicest people are the meanest and scariest. So I ask what do you think happens if the nice guys decide to be not so nice?
Groups like Anonymous. That's what you get. When the nice people have had enough, you get to see the awakening of the most dangerous monster you didn't even know existed 💀.
There is an old saying that a wise man fears only 3 things. One of them is the wrath of a gentle soul FOR A REASON!
I agree fu heartedly, had a bad experience, barely controlled myself and witnesses said I looked ready to kill so I agree , so it's best to be nice to the nice guy
That's me in nut shell
It's often stated to never mistake kindness for weakness.
Rimuru is kind. That does not make him weak
The second best Slime S2 AMV ive seen so far, great job!
What's #1? 👀
@@Nebresto I really like "Warriors" by "ToastedFro". It's more of an ASMV tho.
They are both fantastic in their own regards. This one is epic to watch. ToastedFros' delivers the weight of the situation in a way that gives goosebumps haha.
This is some platinum editing right here!
Editting is on the point my guy!
This is one of the best f*** around and find out moments
Thank you for a well-edited amv... a lot of people just slap images/clips to a song, but this has actual time put into it. Thankyou.
Thanks for watching + nice comment 👍
What a high quality AMV really good work 👍 👍 👍
NEBRESTO this is Wonderfully done you deserve my thumbs up :D BRAVO!
The magna has a extra chapter about one of the soldiers that wasnt a bad guy and his life with his kids.
He dies happy thinking rimuru is a wrathfull angel that promised to not hurt his kid. But still, it was painfull.
That’s not in the novels lol.
@@tekdaystar345 it is in the manga
@@brentgroen3204well at least he knows while he can’t raise his kids they’ll be safe even if it’s false hope
Ive watched this so many times and i gotta say the editing is honestly awesome dude u got a real eye to pairing a scene to each part of the song its honestly amazing❤🎉
Thanks for watching many time 😁
I think it's one of the very best amv's i had the pleasure to watch :) Superb editing!
Cheers mate
Basically they woke up the most terrifying monster by killing his people.
Let's face it, we all knew this was gonna happen when Falmouth invaded Tempest.
This was the best amv Ive seen all year!
Great video 🙌 very fitting and well edited to sync
Top AMV. Gives good Power at Workout 💪
OMFG. Now I'm so hyped for the second season's second part.
To all countries and princes of Darkness for the future: "Don't provoke Tempest, otherwise the LEGION OF MONSTERS WILL TAKE YOUR LIVES"
It's kind of scary how accurate this song is... I've watched this video at least five more times and just gets more and more Erie
this song was really fitting, nice montage :)
I wonder what would have happened if Rimuru was not given that sliver of hope.
How much of a monster would Rimuru have become if his rage consumed him.
This video is God tier
Perfect. Marvelous. I love the editing and the precising of the music and serie
Keep up the good work!
Sounds very cool. Nice connect between song and anime arc + good edit = hellyeah!
There are Three Things that all Wisemen Fear...
1.A Storm out on The Sea.
2.A Night with No Moon.
3.When a Good Man goes to WAR.
That time I got reincarnated as a slime.
Highly recommended 👍👍👍.
If you poke at a hornet's nest be prepared for a swarm
Perfect AMV❤
Never seek war with a man who seeks peace.
The song goes well with season 2. Well done.
This was awesome!! Another good one is Device: Out of line. Fits Clayman to a tee
This anime is just our new Overlord. Since I doubt another season will ever come out.
Of Overlord? They've already announced a new movie + season 4
Nice video and edition :D
Thanks
The city of monsters is Rimuru's family. I would do no less for my own.
Yeah but he is literally also Family to Valdorra so I'm wondering how well that's going to go down with the church later.
You just don't mess with dragonkin
Awesome and cool love the stum of a down right
THAT WAS SO DOPE!!!!!!
It's a well edited AMV with a good music. Good job, I like it! :)
damm, nice work on the edit
Its funny. Even tho Rimuru and the people of his nations are monsters the song fittingly point out that the humans who attacked are the real monsters. :)
Amazing AMV, great job 🔥
Wow 😳 the edit is superb
The biggest no no of all of anime:
Never and I do mean NEVER think you can spin Rimuru's block and think nothing will come of it in the end.
Do not fvck with old pips in anime-the no 1 mistake everybody does
Epic AMV!! =D
OP revenge done right, it was literally flawless.
very nice my faviurite song and my favourite anime 10/10 keep it up
The song fits so well with the video
Funnily enough the latter light novels actually provide an even better example of just how terrifying the Jura Tempest Federation can be. For those interested I will just say this as vague hint: The Black Numbers are unleashed with the orders to "kill them all"
Honestly this song describes the events of season 2 so well its almost like it was commisioned.
The moment the rimuru tempest people fought back and weren't being weakened
"It was at this moment they knew... They fucked up"
Ah yes the stupidity and naivety of Humans both fictional and real is truly a sight to behold
The song fit perfectly 100 out of 100
