That’s why it’s important for us black people to go to HBCUs. They help you learn more about black history than just the traumatic parts of black history. They help you see more than our pain and see our success. I graduated from Morgan State University in December and I learned more than just the stuff they repeat/don’t teach in grade school. I love my HBCU. I am grateful for it as well.
