Thank you for that. This is the video that made me buy a MiniFreak. I would like to see more videos on sound design with the MiniFreak. Maybe the release of FW 3.0 can be used as an opportunity. The Cloud Grains Oscilator should be ideal for creating beautiful pad sounds. I would also like to see a second part of this video where the sounds are arranged and put into a full track.
After watching so many videos in which Neptun is incredibly careful and well-behaved, it was lovely to see him go into Full-On Clingy-Cat mode... watching you work around him was both heart-warming and very funny - this stream made my day 😄
This was a great stream. I was laughing out loud at times as Neptun helped make this session so wonderfully chaotic. Not sure whether 'Ambient Cat Bum' will ever become anything other than a niche genre. Thank you so much.
How well does the VST by itself sound compared to the hardware? I mean the only thing I’m guessing you would compare is the analog filter right. How well does it mimic the analog filter in the VST? I also just sent you an email from your Phelios bandcamp webpage.

Just wanted to midi controller for the vst instruments. I’m a guitarist and have picked up playing keyboards to add bass, drums doing the solo busking and wanting to expand. @@MartinStuertzerRegarding reverb, what usually determines your decision to use the Valhalla Room vs the Vahalla Vintage vs the Super massive? Is there a specific technical reason or is it more about vibes and what you are feeling in the moment? Thx

Great video! I was surprised at seeing Ableton again! How are you finding the Minifreak Martin? Tempted to get one myself as my main controller and synth hybrid.
I really like the Minifreak and use it as my desktop keyboard as well. For livesets it has a lot of "synth" for its small size, but it does not feel like a cheap toy.
I apologize for my mistake, that I made with the effects. There was no bug with Ableton (this time), I just misplaced the plugins.
Limiter last in the chain? I always do it as a precaution but don't know about creating huge pads.

What is the reasoning behind placing another additional reverb (room) after the Valhalla on the first pad? Thx
Valhalla Supermassive works as a delay, so the combination is 1 delay + 1 reverb.

Both is possible, but in this stream I was only using the plugin version.

What are you using for your video switching?
OBS and a Atem Mini for the video inputs. I should get a Streamdeck, so that I don't need the mouse every time.
