Transport at Beamish - 11th June 2022

Filmed at the North of England Open Air Museum, Beamish, County Durham on Saturday 11th June 2022. Starting with action on the tramway, then a brief look at the Pockerley Waggonway, with the replica 'Puffing Billy' operating, then returning to the trams and buses. Trams seen in action are Blackpool 31, Newcastle 114 and Sunderland 16. Buses seen in action are the replica LGOC B Type, Crosville Leyland Cub 716, Rotherham Daimler CVG6DD 220 and Darlington Daimler CCG5DD 4.

Where are the trolleybuses?

The trolleybuses are stored at the back of the tram depot, because at present there isn't anywhere to run them. They are building a 1950s town and the trolleybus route will run through that when it is finished.
