I remember when they built Burger king and put the façade in next door to Blimpie on Central ave. Best yet was when me and mom carried a Christmas tree back to Ogden ave from the corner of Central and Bowers ..around 77
Oh Holland st and Ogden ave... Remember when someone got hit in the face with a homemade Chinese star from a Hawaiian punch can in the park ...We use to go down the hill backwards on our Tonka trucks.
@@wardzaza768 I recall a pool too. Back in 50-53 my Dad would take me to the park. We lived nearby on Irving Street. I saw divers from a distance and asked him what was going on. Was probably 2 at the time.

Heights was where I lived as an infant and toddler from 50-53: on Irving St., half block from Central Avenue and Washington Park.
