11:30 the reason Kong used his battle axe go block Shimo’s ice breath is because the axe is capable if absorbing Godzilla’s atomic breath, since Shimo looks like a similar species with the dorsal plates and use of a breath attack, Kong must have assumed the axe would work for her too.

2:31 In the novel, it is explained that Godzilla chose to sleep in the colosseum because it reminds him of the temple that was made for him by ancient humans who had died, and in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the temple was destroyed by a nuke which was used to revive Godzilla.
