IOD inks are permanent. After you let the ink air dry a few minutes, you can heat set the ink at 365° for 30 seconds, then wash like normal. I usually just let my fabric items air dry a few days and then wash. I don't heat set. That is just what is recommended.
Thanks for the demo of some of the possibilities with this platform. I saw Pete at Sizzix demo it but he was all about the stencils. As a card maker it seemed like overkill. But the fabric is just great! Hmm. Tshirts?
I’ve been wanting to stamp my own kitchen/hand towels but never had the nerve. Yours look beautiful! I also love the color you used. Thank you for sharing!
Hello, love your creativity! You may want to checkout the UA-cam class 534 The Dos and Don’t of the Sizzix Stamp and Stencil Platform…. Specifically how to “attach” stencils using this tool…it’s around 1:20 into the class…there is an adapter (sticky) tool that will allow the stencils to attach to the platform without trying to punch holes in your stencils. Love this tool! Hope this is helpful!❤❤❤❤ the tea towels!

One more thing…sorry if you mentioned it already but where did you get the stamps?
They are IOD or Iron orchid design stamps, redesign by prima makes some great larger stamps as well
I want to know more about stamping on the towels. Paper and fabric crafts go together.
