There are a lot of channels that do dnd lore and i like to fall asleep to it but this channel is my favorite. Mr Rhexx is a little too energetic and while i like Aj Pickett, he often has a lot of videos where the volume just shoots up or down and or the sound quality is garbage but your channel is consistant and calming and i really hope you dont stop making videos anytime soon.
they are two mostly "canon" story about the origins of hydra, one is basically that when a dragon god (don't remember the name) was killed some of its blood/guts touch the soil and mutate bringing hydras to the world another story talks about horrible modifications by greedy very powerful mages (elven high magic or netheril probably) creating dragonic monstruosities the difference between hydras and other draconics creatures is that they are not considered as "natural" beings, dragons, dragonnels or wyverns melds with their environment, becoming apex predators, but the hydras will enter a location eat everything living and move on, creating "dead fauna zones", their appetite is just impossible to fulfill and will devastate entire ecosystems also their are really stupids, really just beasts, wyverns have an intelligence of 5, it seems low but it means they are exceptionnaly intelligent for an animal, they have their own complex language, hierarchy and rules, the capacity to coordone attacks with their mate and are capable or comprehending simple orders, basicaly you can consider them on equal footing with a small child or a retarded adult in case of intelligence dragonnels have an intelligence of 8, same footing as an uneducated person like a lowly peasant, a pseudodragon will have an intelligence of 10, like an educated ordinary person while dragons are really, really cunning, some even more than mages. hydras have an intelligence score of 2, even drakes that are artificialy made (on the origin) have 4 intelligence also, you can't train or control an hydra, they're are to stupid and too hungry to even considering not eating you, so yeah, just kill every hydras on sight
In both real world mythology and in the world of dungeons and dragons the term dragon is gender neutral. It should be seen as the name of the genus rather than anything else. The rules might not be the same for every fantasy world however and as with almost anything mythology wise (exspecially something as universal as dragons) can be chaged to fit a creators want
I'm surprised I've never heard of this lesser dragon before.
I did from an episode of Ester the bard

I wonder if nessel was just jealous for some reason…
I think Dragonnels are to dragons what monkeys are to humans
Not true dragon. Dragon blood.
dragonnels are female dragons or dragonesses
