Irons a bit offline today, and some below average chips. You played like me! My attitude is much better with putting though. I’m trying to hole anything inside of 20’. Two-putting every hole is just giving strokes away.

Blimey uve ventured down our way this far south 😁😁 Weston’s not a bad course..if you haven’t try saunton, burnham, st enedoc, trevose, thurlestone perranporth to name a few and my course a James braid ..stover, its just being revamped with a new layout..Dan H did a UA-cam vid on the changes…crossfield was a junior at stover and still plays there a lot..lots of decent courses down our way to be fair 👍👍
@@andycartergolf burnham worth a crack but personally prefer saunton east..get yourself down to Cornwall..I’m lucky enough to play in the coast and country when we travel down to st Ives and play west Cornwall and tehidy and then maybe trevose on the way back..cracking 👌..good content again and did enjoy your Dubai stuff with westy etc 👍👍👍
Good Job Andy! I don't think one plays the best golf under the conditions you were presented, but you did well! I recently played in a tournament where we were hit with small pellets of hail on the 18th hole and when we got to the green, it was completely covered with ice pellets. Needless to say, I didn't wipe my ball or putter face, rushed the putts and didn't finish well! :-(
Maybe a WITB would be good, has it changed now back in UK.? I'm trying to figure out my lower end gaping!! So you go W GW 50 (or is your GW your 50)58? Anything between 50 & 58? If not, can you work the 50 with bounce/grind to adjust loft if needed?
@@andycartergolf That's Devon, be careful you don't confuse the two 😂 If you make it down to Cornwall there are a few brilliant courses. Perranporth is my local, but West Cornwall and Mullion are definitely worth a visit. Incredibly beautiful

I’ve always felt that 1st green is so important. It sets a precedent in my mind for who the performance on the greens could be. Holing a 3/4 footer is a great confidence boost

Andy, if you want a real links challenge in Somerset, it has to be the 9 hole Channel Course at Burnham & Berrow. It's brutal off the back tees.

Haha we are heading into a NZ winter, very similar to UK 🥶 but we’re off to Dubai in July, hopefully to tick off some more great courses ☀️ ⛳️
