The wear indicator actually goes up when the caliper is facing towards the front of the vehicle

It should go on the top rear. I was going off of what was previously installed. Thank you for pointing that out. Itll still serve its function but youre correct, top rear.

I JUST did front and rear pads and rotors on my wife's 2018. All 4 rotors took a lot of beating and banging to get them loose. Oh...and I wound up drilling out those stupid rotor screws on the back since they wouldn't budge...and of course...I stripped in them in the process.

Thats not uncommon. They only require a few lbs of torque but many people use an impact to put them on. Ive drilled out more than I can count lol. Thanks for watching and good job!
