Im in a small band myself, havent made any originals yet but you guys are going really good so far, keep up the good work, you will find a drummer and a vocalist soon (one of you guys can always vocals, who knows you might be very unique or sound normal)
This just popped up in my feed and I was wildly surprised this track sounds(I don't know if you have plans to make this a full track or if its just a jam). As a musician myself, I love to see others have a chance to shine so I wrote this kind of wall of text because I feel it would you guys out a lot. So I know you mentioned that you need a drummer and a singer but you also REALLY need an audio engineer(who is also a producer). The reason is every song(regardless of genre) needs to be mixed and polished because raw recordings of vocals or instruments never sound polished off the bat but have to be edited to be polished. If you've heard any song on Spotify it will have been mixed. Additionally, mixing allows for all the instruments and vocals to sound like they are working together rather than clashing(if you've ever layered a vocal on top of an track without mixing you'd see what I mean). Another reason is that a audio engineer/producer(that is focused on this type of music) will know how to process your guitar/bass guitar with effects in a way that is unique to you and fits the song right. An audio engineer works in mixing/producing software called digital audio workstation such as Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro, ect. In the long run I do recommend at least one of you learn how to produce and mix music. Its two hard skills to master but you will have more creative control of your music and you don't have to pay someone else to do that for you. Audio engineers/producers tend to charge by the hour and that can get expensive over time. Note: if you work with an audio engineer/producer always make sure there is some contract involved that grants you guys as owners of the song. The last thing you want is for you guys to part ways with the audio engineer and he steals your track. I really hope you guys keep at it and grow further as musicians! much love
