I'm trying to get higher grades in my chemistry since I just started the GCSE courses and are becoming very difficult, but your simple explanantions are rrly helping me grasp the subject better. Tysm!
Again, another great video. Summarises everything and I’ve learnt 3/4 of my end of year exam that I am meant to sit tomorrow. Keep up with the amazing videos I am so glad to have found you!
Is another reason why a polymers boiling/melting point is higher than that oof simple molecular forces to do with the size of those Inter molecular forces? (as well as how many imf there are )
Hey Cognito You might have noticed me a lot in your comments now, it's a fact that I am using your videos to make my own notes, can you please exaggerate the types of additional and condensation polymers. If not a video, comment would work too. I like your video, great work.
Ok uhm anyone know what is the meaning of polymer using this video? 😊😀 Edit: nvm I found it. So now uhm does anyone know the properties of polymer using this video? Thank uuu :’)
Large molecules made up of smaller molecules called monomers Properties are that it has higher melting and boiling point cuz loads of intermolecular forces are needed to break them apart
Theres save my exams notes on it. If youre taking IGCSE it’s not a lengthy topic which requires video explanation but in general they are just a compound that’s presented in hydrated salts. If you want to test for water of crystallisation you can use cobalt chloride which turns from blue to pink if hydrated and copper sulphate which is white in anhydrous and light blue in hydrous.

Ur video made my brain open in 3 mins LOL... Tq
Have you done one on polymer condensation and addition?
Not yet i'm afraid, we're working our way through the course in order, so that will come a bit later!

Thank you for such a great explanation
Nice and clear and slow. Thank you.
You are too underrated ❤
Why do we use a (Cl - Cl) “-“ notation for covalent bonds but not a notation for ionic bonds? Like instead of NaCl it’d be: (Na+-Cl)?
Thank you - this video has really helped me!!! :-)
I really luv the lessons from cognito

Don't we always use square brackets and not curved brackets?
no
ig we can use any of two.
